I've found that the best way to deal with Alec is to take a rolled up newpaper and hit him very hard on the nose and say ''NO! NO! NO! BAD BOY. VERY BAD BOY!'' in a very stern voice. It certainly works on my dog and stops him from begging. Another good way is to make Alec perform a little song and dance for you and your friends as these lads have done. It helps build his self esteem and this way he feels that he's earned the 10p.
