@cjszero01 ok well yeah, that guy is just stupid. and no, that is what i'm trying to show you that i'm not complaining about. im saying that price is not a factor, you should just look at a game for all it's worth as a game in general. and if it IS a remake, then just act as if it was a brand new title for the 3DS or whatever. just like how critics gave the OOT remake 9-10/10s because they judged it on raw material on a game. sure it was a remake of a 13 year old game, but...

@ANUSSOR I don't think StarFox64 3D is bad in fact I love it and until I get my package from home that has Sonic Generations 3DS, Super Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 7 it is currently my favorite 3DS game. At the same time however it is the same experience that came out on the N64. The new multiplayer power-ups are awesome but why was there no online mode? It's a solid game but nothing all that great which is saying something if you've seen my redo-review of StarFox64 (spoiler free).
@ANUSSOR Cont) Sometimes if the game is just too short and it's full price it just doesn't feel fair or justified. I LOVED Donkey Kong Country Returns but it didn't take me that long to beat it and the extra features felt hollow. It's hard to give short but good games I love strong recommendations if it's at full price especially when there are other games out there like them but last much longer. As for spoilers I don't do that as much and give warnings now if there are any.
WOOWAWOOWA hold it! You complain about blue coins, 5 or 10 to get sunshine. And the purple coins, 100 to get star? I find that NOT to bring down the rating. Although purple coins are close together.
@kirbchu1 There are special missions where you have to collect the 100 purple coins but as you said they are much closer together. I found the purple coins far more fun as they didn't seem that... hmm... how to say it... I guess repetitive as finding the all the hidden blue coins.
@cjszero01 I would take purple coin missions rather than blue coins. but the purple coins also introduced the red star that lets you fly in SMG, that makes up for it since its worth finding 100 purples on a small planet.
@cjszero01 i agree with you with the review and also with the score 3/5, but what i also didnt like about it is the levels (levels with 8 shinesprites). the levels in this game were not unique in any way there were only 2 grass levels, 3 water levels, 1 ghost level, and 1circus level, but in galaxy and 64 the levels were unique. there were sand, ice, fire, water, ghost, grass etc levels. what do you think about the levels in sunshine? i mean are they unique or not?
@kirbchu1 my problem with the blue coins is that you dont know where they are hidden the purple coins are hidden in a certain mission while the blue coins you have to choose one of the eight missions and search not to mention that half of them were really boring to collect and they dont give you a single clue! but this is after all my opinion :p
I do fund 64 and Galaxy better, and the yoshi vomit didn't creep me out I found it halarious to vomit on those Pinatas (spelled wrong I bet). I got sunshine also trying to get Kirby air ride. I found it very injoyable, with the features fluid gave mario, the water, senery. They probably went to Delfino to be AWAY from Bowser, would you wan to take a vaction somewhere where you've been kidnapped? But bowser somehow knew they were there (SPYS). 4/5 for me.
Whenever I get a Chance to Cj I willmake a video response to this and give my opinion ans saying what a feel. Hopefully that willbe soon beacause I have gotten all I need except capter card. I hav a laptop, wii, game, and mic.Thats it.
I think I have terrible taste in games, cuz I love all the games people hate. I would give this game a 5/5! I love it! I used to play it with my sister all the time!
I don't see why people hate this game so much, I LOVE it! I would have given it 3/4 or 4/5 myself, I liked/disliked it for the same reason everyone stated here, I disagree that the game was short though, Banjo-Kazooie was far shorter and like in Galaxy some of the challenges were so darn hard that really extended the time, getting 100% I think takes a lot longer than it was implied in this video
@cjszero01 btw i think galaxy is overrated and too different from mario 64 i was playing mario 64 till sunshine came out and it felt the same as m64 thats why i liked it :P but again its just my opinion
One of the strangest things that has happened to me in video game history is that this glitch is embedded in to my game. Its that in the hotel level when you chase shadow mario i have to be quick because when he runs upstairs he walks through a wall! O_0 then he dissapears and ihave to start again:(
I love this game. Granted, I haven't gotten to the point where Yoshi comes in, but the game is still a lot of fun. I loved those stages where you couldn't use FLUDD because I had my own problems with FLUDD. They put a freaking limit on how much you can spray in one go! I can understand if you run out of water, but if you have a full tank, there's a limit on how much you can spray in one go. This created a problem during some fights where I had to spray water, but then FLUDD would give up.
I'm sorry I'm so critical of this review...I just don't think that you said enough things to take off 2 points. I only heard 2 complaints (3 if you count the camera problem thing.) I honestly think you should reconsider this score based on what you said in your Mega Man 3 review.
@lukerbom12 I didn't like what they did to Yoshi, there are some camera problems, I HATE the blue coins, and there were some parts that just sucked because you HAD to to them right such as the boat before Bowser and where those Pinata guys toss you from ledge to ledge. It felt rushed to me and didn't have enough locations. How about creating another world to get stars instead of collecting blue coins?
@cjszero01 Thanks for replying. I agree with those things, but they just didn't bother me as much, except for the Pianta Toss part. You may not have seen it, but in the "What's your opinion? 3DS Remakes" I mentioned a Super Mario Sunshine remake where they could add more worlds and give Yoshi some better power-ups.
Anyway, I want you to know that I respect your opinions. I was just curious about how you said you didn't take points off for disappointment, when you seemed to have in this review.
I have played all three of those games. Galaxy, if you can believe this, was MILES behind Sunshine for me. 64 on the other hand, was miles behind Galaxy. I always thought that Galaxy was just Sunshine with more power-ups, and no F.L.U.U.D., and 64 was pretty cool, but the control was awkward, the power-ups were less then satisfying to me, and overall, I think it was good for the time, but it hasn't aged well. Sunshine is defiantly my favorite Mario game, and is my Fifth favorite game of all time
And also in sonic adventure 2, some of the setting took place in space and had gravity and super mario galaxy was in space and had gravity. Sonic adventure 2 came first then super mario galaxy.
Since I have never played mario 64 I can't say anything about that. But really, was galaxy really that good? Yeah sure Sunshine had thoes really annoying stages where can't use fludd, but I don't think galaxy was better than sunshine!
@cjszero01 As much as I hated the Mario series (rooted from Super Mario Sunshine), Galaxy is incredible. It played great, wasn't too hard or too easy, and was ridiculously fun.
@cjszero01 I think my problem with Sunshine was the intense difficulty of some of the levels. The third level in the Pianta Village really struck me as being waaaay too hard. The controls for the Leaf/Boat were really wonky, and the final battle had some glitches in it. That, and Bowser was barely in it. And when he did come on screen...his voice was wretched.
I actually like Sunshine better than Super Mario 64. I actually think Super Mario 64 is the worst of the 3D Mario Games. It's amazing and revolutionary, but I just liked each one better than the last. SM64<SMS<Galaxy<Galaxy 2
@cjszero01 yeah..... i think he should of been called cosmic maio in this becuase he doesn't look like a shadow he looks like a cosmic kinda character becuase his texture
@hackensac Anyone one who's played any of the Mario platformers before this can say the same. But really Peach if your the "momma" wouldn't you remember giving birth to something like that? That's what I'm trying to say.
and the Platformer levels are just AWESOME. It has the old SMB theme and it has way cool platforms. The roller coaster level is fun(the first one not the ballons!) and the graphics are extreamly colorful like Banjo Kazooie and I think it is the best we coulda got for that generation.
THe FLUDD adds like a 3D shooter aspect. The hover abilty works at some points and fails at some points. Like sometimes it just doesnt work. The music in this game is not as varied as Mario 64. It's just differnt versions of the main tune. The complexness of the missions is what this game does best. Unlike Mario 64 where you gather 8 Red coins (Although that IS in here) and running to reach the star or beat a enemy Sunshine adds the Shadow Mario levels wich are fun if you can keep up with him
To Me as a Gamecube 3-D Mario adventure, I think it does well like a 8.9 outta 10.
The boat before bowser was just a Dick move. I crashes, Your fucked, PERDIO even if you make ot back it doesnt respawn. The bosses are enjoyable and the look and fell of the game is awesome. The levels however, feel rushed, Like Ricco Harbor. I think that level although it's my favorite coulda been a little better. It's a aerial level so..... meh.
Luigi's Mansion is one of my favourite games. I didn't like Mario Sunshine much. I think it's one of the most overrated games of all time. If anything, Nintendo should've made something to make up for Mario Sunshine. Actually they did. It was called Mario Galaxy.
I don't think it's fair to compare it to Mario64. Gamecube games always seem to be compared to n64 titles, and the n64 was obviously a great system for its time. Like people always say, oh sunshine isn't as good as mario64, and wind waker wasn't as good as ocarina of time. Even if you agree, you can't base your opinion on the game by comparing it to another. You gotta think about what you would give it if you have never played mario64 or galaxy.
@zeppelin1996 And I'd still give it a 3/5. I wasn't that impressed with it plus I thought the camera could've been better and some challenges felt difficult due to broken mechanics, I'm looking at you Pinata throwing platforms.
@zeppelin1996 I agree. And, no offense cjszero01, but I don't think its fair to compare this to Galaxy and Sonic Adventure 2. I mean no disrespect, cjszero01, but thats just me.
@BigBossMan538 I wasn't comparing this to Galaxy, just saying that I thought Galaxy was fantastic. And I only compared this to Sonic Adventure 2's story because of the similarities.
I disagree with you. Mario Galaxy wasn't really all that great. I would pick just one of the best Mario titles but there are so many. I would say that one of the best titles of the Mario franchise is Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.
Wait in your Metriod review you said that Zelda games should have voices, but in this reivew you said this is why Zelda games should not have voices...
Sunshine is one of my favorite mario games of all time, right next to Galaxy. Not only do i love it for everything a good game shud have, but it also has a lot of sentimental value to me
i agree that it was 4/5 i hated alot of things like the camera, yoshi, and how short it was but i did love the addition of fludd cuz it made you think a bit more than 64 did and the different nozzles were loads of fun...my friend wants ti borrow it and im waqrning him that its not as good as it looks
Wow. I like this co-op review stuff. Seems fun. You ought to do it more often.
My opinion: Sunshine was fun, creative, and unique, but didn't really feel like a Mario game. 64 and Galaxy were unique, but retained the Mario feel. Sunshine did, however, introduce Petey Piranha, my favorite Mario character.
I would but there are two problems: 1.) it's hard to get everyone to meet up at the same time. 2.) Unfortunately I don't have that much time so I can't do any more right now. :(
My favorite thing is that it was more like the old mario because with all the that wierd stuff everywhare. so you'er mario plumbing up all that stuff just like back in the old days.
Basically, what I would have said was that the game was incredible, with a few major flaws that partially ruined it. The gameplay was amazing, the water pack was fun, and those little mini levels were awesome. But the game should have had more star based on missions! They could have illuminated the stupid blue coin stars and added more levels! And i found the last boss to be way too easy and short. Thats basically what i would have said. Great job everyone by the way, u had some great points! :)
Man, those are my exact thoughts, that's why I felt it was rushed because they used blue coins instead of designing more worlds. "What kind of world could they have done" maybe on a cruise liner like in Mario Kart Double Dash or a Yoshi Island where Yoshi could've been more useful. It kills me that you weren't able to have enough staminia to make it to this review, but there's always next time, whenever that is.
What did you think about Yoshi in this? If he didn't eat things they could've replaced him with anything else. Think of what they could've done with him, Flying Yoshi races while shooting fireballs at your rivals.
Crap! I just went through the sent messages and yours and Impersonators weren't their. <:( I blame youtube because I really thought I invited you guys.
I liked the bosses and the Pianta village in the giant tree.
I hated Bowser JR as Shadow Mario, Peach as her usual moronic self, the Flash Liquidizing Ultra Dowsing Device and how you had to use it for almost everything, I struggled without it because it's forced on you to use it at every opportunity, I also hated Yoshi, except the jump and I hated the camera, 3/5 there's some good stuff in this game (it's Mario) and there's some bad stuff.
Yes Flash Liquidizing Ultra Dowsing Device is what FLUDD calls himself when you first get him, to anyone who dosn't a: pay any attention to the cutscenes or b: forgot, that is who this comment is refering to.
Luigi's Mansion wasn't bad but as a Launch flapship title? Thank God it had Rouge Squadron 2 at launch. I might have been a little critical of this game but that's what I thought of it. There was so much more potential I believe and they rushed it, would you rather have another place to explore or find about 200 blue coins scattered everywhere? I would've loved to have seen some flying Yoshi races and stuff like that. But that's just me.
I didn't really care for blue coins... it just was collecting i didn't care for it. As for yoshi i really honest to god don't care about yoshi either way. other things were great boss battles difficulty, items, platforming, ETC. I would give it a 8.5/10
In my most fraustrating times, I would agree with that scrore. Best examples the boat before Bowser, and do you remember the part where your in the special area without fludd and the Pinatta people are chucking you from ledge to ledge? I HATED that part because the aiming had to be just right or else you would die and the aiming was difficult. In it's most fun parts I could give a 9 but I think it averages out to a 7 or 3 on my scale.
I absolutely hate it when I have to remember exactly where I need to stand and when on a particular level, I don't mind the type of memorizing needed for the Zelda series or Brawl, in Zelda or similer games it's just a few things you need to remember for later, like how you couldn't get into the Forest Temple without the Hookshot, Brawl you've got your moves, your opponent's moves and any hazards on the stage.
But when the developers expect everyone who bought the game to memorize an entire level, they'd be better off ripping off Tetris or making some sort of big puzzle room instead.
Yeah, Sunshine was a major dissapointment! I always thought it was really really hard as well (especially the stage where you had to, like, wash all of the electric goo within a time limit... and the freaking lava-boat-thing at the end, urgh!)
And I'm not the biggest Yoshi-fan, but MAN was he ever a pusher here! His addition felt pretty pointless... and throwing up? WTF!?!
However, I did like the boss-battles... as well as the introduction of Bowser Jr.! One thing that this game had that even Galaxy lacked was recorded dialogue!
Despite my constant begging my parents didn't ever but me an N64 so I had no 3D Mario game to compare Sunshine to when I played it. Personally I loved it but it was the first time I'd played a 3D Mario game. In retrospect however, 64 and Galaxy were much better installments, though I can't help but feel like that's a fair statement, seeing how 64 and (to an extent) Galaxy were revolutionary games, and Sunshine was nothing more than a sequel.
in ricco harbor I fell in the "chimney" of the ship at the beginning.

@cjszero01 ...so do you at least see where i am coming from and what i am tying to say?
ANUSSOR 1 month ago
@ANUSSOR I don't think StarFox64 3D is bad in fact I love it and until I get my package from home that has Sonic Generations 3DS, Super Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 7 it is currently my favorite 3DS game. At the same time however it is the same experience that came out on the N64. The new multiplayer power-ups are awesome but why was there no online mode? It's a solid game but nothing all that great which is saying something if you've seen my redo-review of StarFox64 (spoiler free).
cjszero01 1 month ago

Although purple coins are close together.
kirbchu1 3 months ago
@kirbchu1 There are special missions where you have to collect the 100 purple coins but as you said they are much closer together. I found the purple coins far more fun as they didn't seem that... hmm... how to say it... I guess repetitive as finding the all the hidden blue coins.
cjszero01 3 months ago
@cjszero01 I would take purple coin missions rather than blue coins. but the purple coins also introduced the red star that lets you fly in SMG, that makes up for it since its worth finding 100 purples on a small planet.
kirbchu1 3 months ago
@cjszero01 i agree with you with the review and also with the score 3/5, but what i also didnt like about it is the levels (levels with 8 shinesprites). the levels in this game were not unique in any way there were only 2 grass levels, 3 water levels, 1 ghost level, and 1circus level, but in galaxy and 64 the levels were unique. there were sand, ice, fire, water, ghost, grass etc levels. what do you think about the levels in sunshine? i mean are they unique or not?
crocasaur 3 months ago
@crocasaur They were more originally in the Mushroom Kingdom settings, but not very differse.
cjszero01 3 months ago
@crocasaur oops, I meant original.
cjszero01 3 months ago
@kirbchu1 my problem with the blue coins is that you dont know where they are hidden the purple coins are hidden in a certain mission while the blue coins you have to choose one of the eight missions and search not to mention that half of them were really boring to collect and they dont give you a single clue! but this is after all my opinion :p
crocasaur 3 months ago
I do fund 64 and Galaxy better, and the yoshi vomit didn't creep me out I found it halarious to vomit on those Pinatas (spelled wrong I bet). I got sunshine also trying to get Kirby air ride. I found it very injoyable, with the features fluid gave mario, the water, senery. They probably went to Delfino to be AWAY from Bowser, would you wan to take a vaction somewhere where you've been kidnapped? But bowser somehow knew they were there (SPYS). 4/5 for me.

VentusKey358 4 months ago
I don't see why people hate this game so much, I LOVE it! I would have given it 3/4 or 4/5 myself, I liked/disliked it for the same reason everyone stated here, I disagree that the game was short though, Banjo-Kazooie was far shorter and like in Galaxy some of the challenges were so darn hard that really extended the time, getting 100% I think takes a lot longer than it was implied in this video

1The Best level design in a platforming game

3The best and most fun powerups in a platforming game ever, everyone of them was awesome and added a lot to the game.
4The Graphics technically and Art Wise were great and are still the best the Wii has to offer
5Amazing controls, they have no flaws.

Oh well. You don't have to.
lukerbom12 8 months ago
@lukerbom12 I didn't like what they did to Yoshi, there are some camera problems, I HATE the blue coins, and there were some parts that just sucked because you HAD to to them right such as the boat before Bowser and where those Pinata guys toss you from ledge to ledge. It felt rushed to me and didn't have enough locations. How about creating another world to get stars instead of collecting blue coins?
cjszero01 8 months ago
@cjszero01 Thanks for replying. I agree with those things, but they just didn't bother me as much, except for the Pianta Toss part. You may not have seen it, but in the "What's your opinion? 3DS Remakes" I mentioned a Super Mario Sunshine remake where they could add more worlds and give Yoshi some better power-ups.
Anyway, I want you to know that I respect your opinions. I was just curious about how you said you didn't take points off for disappointment, when you seemed to have in this review.
lukerbom12 8 months ago
Good review, but why a 3/5 instead of 4/5?
littlelink942 8 months ago
I have played all three of those games. Galaxy, if you can believe this, was MILES behind Sunshine for me. 64 on the other hand, was miles behind Galaxy. I always thought that Galaxy was just Sunshine with more power-ups, and no F.L.U.U.D., and 64 was pretty cool, but the control was awkward, the power-ups were less then satisfying to me, and overall, I think it was good for the time, but it hasn't aged well. Sunshine is defiantly my favorite Mario game, and is my Fifth favorite game of all time
Examolofer 9 months ago

And also in sonic adventure 2, some of the setting took place in space and had gravity and super mario galaxy was in space and had gravity. Sonic adventure 2 came first then super mario galaxy.

just saying in zelda there was shadow link before either of them if im correct
123dopper 9 months ago
I've also noticed the similarities between this game and Sonic Adventure 2, in fact they seem to have a very eerie connection:
Super Mario Sunshine was the 1st Mario game on Gamecube.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was the 1st Sonic game on Gamecube.
Bowser Jr. makes his 1st appearance and frames Mario.
Shadow makes his 1st appearance and frames Sonic.
See what I mean?

@kloola Have you played Galaxy?
cjszero01 1 year ago 6
@cjszero01 As much as I hated the Mario series (rooted from Super Mario Sunshine), Galaxy is incredible. It played great, wasn't too hard or too easy, and was ridiculously fun.
PhazonSpear 9 months ago
@cjszero01 I think my problem with Sunshine was the intense difficulty of some of the levels. The third level in the Pianta Village really struck me as being waaaay too hard. The controls for the Leaf/Boat were really wonky, and the final battle had some glitches in it. That, and Bowser was barely in it. And when he did come on screen...his voice was wretched.
PhazonSpear 9 months ago
I actually like Sunshine better than Super Mario 64. I actually think Super Mario 64 is the worst of the 3D Mario Games. It's amazing and revolutionary, but I just liked each one better than the last. SM64<SMS<Galaxy<Galaxy 2
It's all really close though.

and the Platformer levels are just AWESOME. It has the old SMB theme and it has way cool platforms. The roller coaster level is fun(the first one not the ballons!) and the graphics are extreamly colorful like Banjo Kazooie and I think it is the best we coulda got for that generation.
younggunsfan 1 year ago
THe FLUDD adds like a 3D shooter aspect. The hover abilty works at some points and fails at some points. Like sometimes it just doesnt work. The music in this game is not as varied as Mario 64. It's just differnt versions of the main tune. The complexness of the missions is what this game does best. Unlike Mario 64 where you gather 8 Red coins (Although that IS in here) and running to reach the star or beat a enemy Sunshine adds the Shadow Mario levels wich are fun if you can keep up with him
younggunsfan 1 year ago
To Me as a Gamecube 3-D Mario adventure, I think it does well like a 8.9 outta 10.
The boat before bowser was just a Dick move. I crashes, Your fucked, PERDIO even if you make ot back it doesnt respawn. The bosses are enjoyable and the look and fell of the game is awesome. The levels however, feel rushed, Like Ricco Harbor. I think that level although it's my favorite coulda been a little better. It's a aerial level so..... meh.

You gotta think about what you would give it if you have never played mario64 or galaxy.
zeppelin1996 1 year ago
@zeppelin1996 And I'd still give it a 3/5. I wasn't that impressed with it plus I thought the camera could've been better and some challenges felt difficult due to broken mechanics, I'm looking at you Pinata throwing platforms.

boboblaster999 2 years ago
Man, those are my exact thoughts, that's why I felt it was rushed because they used blue coins instead of designing more worlds. "What kind of world could they have done" maybe on a cruise liner like in Mario Kart Double Dash or a Yoshi Island where Yoshi could've been more useful. It kills me that you weren't able to have enough staminia to make it to this review, but there's always next time, whenever that is.

At least they kept Yoshi's jump from Melee.
Threadnaught 2 years ago
Yes Flash Liquidizing Ultra Dowsing Device is what FLUDD calls himself when you first get him, to anyone who dosn't a: pay any attention to the cutscenes or b: forgot, that is who this comment is refering to.

i liked sunshine it was hard... and fludd owned. as for yoshi i really don't care. i think you were too harsh btw i liked weegees mansion
MarioLinkGenofan 2 years ago
Luigi's Mansion wasn't bad but as a Launch flapship title? Thank God it had Rouge Squadron 2 at launch. I might have been a little critical of this game but that's what I thought of it. There was so much more potential I believe and they rushed it, would you rather have another place to explore or find about 200 blue coins scattered everywhere? I would've loved to have seen some flying Yoshi races and stuff like that. But that's just me.
cjszero01 2 years ago
I didn't really care for blue coins... it just was collecting i didn't care for it. As for yoshi i really honest to god don't care about yoshi either way. other things were great boss battles difficulty, items, platforming, ETC. I would give it a 8.5/10
MarioLinkGenofan 2 years ago
That's a good score for it, out of ten mine would be in the 7's but that's just me.
cjszero01 2 years ago
It's Mario so it's got lots of good platforming bits, but the bad parts knock my score out of ten down to a 6/10
or maybe 6.5/10, I like the sandplants on that beach and the special alternate dimension platforming bits.
Threadnaught 2 years ago
In my most fraustrating times, I would agree with that scrore. Best examples the boat before Bowser, and do you remember the part where your in the special area without fludd and the Pinatta people are chucking you from ledge to ledge? I HATED that part because the aiming had to be just right or else you would die and the aiming was difficult. In it's most fun parts I could give a 9 but I think it averages out to a 7 or 3 on my scale.
cjszero01 2 years ago
I absolutely hate it when I have to remember exactly where I need to stand and when on a particular level, I don't mind the type of memorizing needed for the Zelda series or Brawl, in Zelda or similer games it's just a few things you need to remember for later, like how you couldn't get into the Forest Temple without the Hookshot, Brawl you've got your moves, your opponent's moves and any hazards on the stage.
Threadnaught 2 years ago
But when the developers expect everyone who bought the game to memorize an entire level, they'd be better off ripping off Tetris or making some sort of big puzzle room instead.
Threadnaught 2 years ago
Yeah, Sunshine was a major dissapointment! I always thought it was really really hard as well (especially the stage where you had to, like, wash all of the electric goo within a time limit... and the freaking lava-boat-thing at the end, urgh!)
And I'm not the biggest Yoshi-fan, but MAN was he ever a pusher here! His addition felt pretty pointless... and throwing up? WTF!?!
BurnerMatch 2 years ago
I completely agree with you especially on the horrible boat part.
cjszero01 2 years ago
Yeah... urgh!
However, I did like the boss-battles... as well as the introduction of Bowser Jr.! One thing that this game had that even Galaxy lacked was recorded dialogue!
BurnerMatch 2 years ago
Despite my constant begging my parents didn't ever but me an N64 so I had no 3D Mario game to compare Sunshine to when I played it. Personally I loved it but it was the first time I'd played a 3D Mario game. In retrospect however, 64 and Galaxy were much better installments, though I can't help but feel like that's a fair statement, seeing how 64 and (to an extent) Galaxy were revolutionary games, and Sunshine was nothing more than a sequel.

SunShine was my favourite of every mario game ever. 64 was good, but SunShine (IMO) was better. and i hated galaxy. it was boring.

I think I sounded a bit better in this than I did in the Skype Hype video. I still need a better mic.
