No place is perfect but when you consider the whole world (180+ countries), Mauritius is one of the best. I can't believe that I never heard of it until about an hour ago. I read an article on it then I read some information at the Encyclopedia, read information at the CIA World Fact Book, and watched several videos here on YouTube. I don't know why I didn't hear about it sooner but it looks like it is developing well, the culture is nice, and the whole island is beautiful.

Do not visit this island a very nice couple visited this murdering island a few days ago on there honeymoon and the young new wife was killed by 3 mauritius native cleaners who worked in the hotel,they were trying to rob there hotel room, she tried to fight for her life as police found the killers skin under her nails.she was found by her husband face down in the bath.

there is no records that ppl were living there b4 400 years ago. it could be or could be not. The truth is there are no records. But the island was dicovered by the Moors in AD 600 and called DinaRobin (meaning island of desolation). hope it helps.
