  • Im getting an amcbook pro 13 inch 2.53 mghz for school and all my papers which one should i get iwork or office/?

  • i'd recommend office as opposed to iwork esp if u're new to the "apple family". it can be quite overwhelming when u make the switch from using a pc to a macbook pro.

  • I wanna no if I should get office or iWork. Which one is better in your opinion. I no iWork is cheaper and u get about the same thing.

    Please reply!

  • i got a new pro 17' 500 gig drive bitchezzz

  • I guess the first question that should be answered is why would you ask me that?

  • En la escuela no pasamos de mother and father...

  • can the information in iwork be transferred to a pc( mic words)

  • what is the difference between iwork and iwork family?

  • you get more downloads off the disc with the family version

you only get 1 with the basic one.

  • the family version is to be installed into more macs, the normal iwork is only meant to be used for 1 user

  • how much is iwork?

  • is there a iwork version for windows.

  • I've heard that Mac computers, using iWork, can run Microsoft games; is that true? I haven't been able to find any information about it.

  • Thank you for review. I'll save the cash and stick with 08.

    peace.

  • does pages have spell check?

  • it does indeed.

  • if I buy a iWork software 09 I'll be able to do PP presentations, and receive them an also excel and word?

  • YES! I was surprised to see that. Its 100% compat.

  • Pretty nice review. Thx a lot mate.

  • it's cool!

    very very cool!

this is what every body should mean!

  • this might sound kinda dumb, but is you maximize a window in leopard, will you see the dock?

  • yes, you will still be able to see the dock

  • thanks

  • Brilliant vid, although I would have liked you to show Windoze users how to adjust font size by using the slider! 5 stars!

  • obviously

  • one quick question. say i want to type a basic paper for school, and i dont have a printer so i need to e-mail it to my professor, can i easily e-mail them my paper (without having to do anything difficult)? and can they easily just open it from their comp (which is a pc) ? please resond ASAP!!

  • all you have to do is export it to, a PDF file, a plain text file, or if you have it, microsoft office. i personally have both, just because it's easier to use iwork, but most people have office, so its good to have. once it's exported, all you have to do is email it to them. the only problem you'll encounter is exporting keynote presentations to microsoft powerpoint. this is because powerpoint does not have most of the backrounds, animations, etc. other than that, you should be fine.

  • Pages is meant to be PC friendly. All you have to do is click on file, export and than click the image that says .DOC and you are covered. Thats it.

  • file, export, word, save to desktop.

open email, drag doc into the email body, becomes a link

and if the person ur emailing to has word they can click and read and or edit it.

i help my sis with her student council speech. i have iwork she has office.

  • you can export it to MS Word format and then send it.

  • Yes, and PDF, and many others.

  • I know you can export iWork to Office applications, but if you export a pages document to Word and you don't have Mac Office can you still save the file to an external memory, and when you upload it to a windows, would it come up as a word document or a Pages document.

  • if you meant that can you edit a document originally made on iWork (which has then been exported to Office format) then yes, you can still edit it. iWork wouldn't sell that well if it wasn't compatible. Plus its cheaper :P

  • Can you export Keynote presentations to Powerpoint 2003 or 2007 format?

  • yeah. I'm pretty sure you can

  • which format does it save to for Microsoft office 2003 or 2007

  • I have 2 questions:

    1. does iwork have a word art equivalent?

    2. how much different does the document look on a pc (microsoft office)?

  • can you make a leaflet with iwork 08 like microsofts publisher?? please some let me know as soon as possible

  • Yeah you can using pages

  • thnx
