Nick Angelis is just a show off. And my sister knows him too. She even told him he is a show off. It was 2007 and he came down to where I live to help teach her high school drumline. They all told him he is a show off. He is cocky and stuck up. Go on and mark it as spam, block it. But I am telling the truth. Sure every snare player wants to be able to do cool tricks but he takes it too far.

Actually the basis for this solo is called Train Wrexk which Nick wrote back in 1992 while marching for SCV. He went to Star the next year and played the same solo again. I know this becuase I was in the room while he was putting the final touches on Train Wreck and probably the first to hear a full run through of the solo. I marched in '92 SCV.

Well, this was just one portion of a whole section of the battery, there are other parts featuring a battle between two snares and then a group of members of the battery on percussion sets. This was just one part of the section entitled the battery battle.

hes working with a drum skin thats quite loose but about a quarter of an inch down is a solid surface so the drum gives him alot of response back.THIS IS NOT A NORMAL DRUM HES USING ANYONE CAN DO THIS

Ah Nick Angelis, my good ol' instructor. When I was at the audition camps for the Colts, he was my caption head, unbelievable guy. He's funny, cool, plays great, really awesome guy. That solo he's doing there is a portion of the solo he did in DCI I&E 1992.

Nick Angelis. Jeff plays right after Nick. Then, about 8 more snares come on stage and they play some great beats drum to drum. Then they move to a rack, play some sweet stuff... Then Nick and Jeff have a bit of a "battle". It is fun. I recommend you buy the DVD. I've seen Blast live and it is amazing. I also own the DVD; also amazing.
