As much as I admire the show, Ken was a little dicey on the success rate numbers. Thats nice if 98% GO to the TREATMENT. I think the number we care about is what percent stay sober AFTER treatment. I keep reading everywhere that those numbers are frighningly low. Like 5% gets thrown around a lot. I dont know Ibve researched I never find the post treatment success number. But many - esp 12 step program haters, keep using the 5% rate. But how did they get the 5% number?

Don't forget you always stay addicted. You have to live addicted. And so you face relapse. But you can't expect to be perfect so some will be back using, in treatment, and maybe fall into the hole and die. Intervention can only save them at that point in time.

I would like Intervention to help some people who don't have anyone. You walk around an area of your city, see addicts that look like they're really suffering and most likely you'll find a person who wants to quit, but has no way out. No place to "go be sick" for awhile. What about those people? Some (most) of the people on Intervention had it pretty sweet! Go help the ones that know they're going to die soon if they don't stop.All you have to do is go around and ask and you'll find them.

@binloved ok im steven and ive been on xanax 16 yrs for panic attacks , agoraphobia , and was on vicodin es 7.5/750mgs , than now im now on oxycodone . percocets , ok my ?is what if i dont have any family left , my mother passed from cancer last yr from cancer and dad is gone from brain aneurysm and stroke , so i dont have a family , so there you can figure ...i take somas too 350mgs 5 times at once sometimes

@binloved I know what you mean I need help, but I got fired, kicked out of my house, the love of my life cheated on me and made her family beleive I beat her and stuff. I have no where to go, i have no health care and I just want to die, where is there a free rehab. Can you heko me at all.
