You get it when you have very bad lag and the client hasn't yet put you to the dc screen. When you reconnect you will start at whatever place you lagged.

obviously a private server, a few quick pointers in the reason why. First, he is still in travel form while inside a building, on retail it would demorph you. Second, when he was going through stormwind, there were absolutely no NPC's, on retail you will see NPC's no matter what, some NPC's are unkillable inside stormwind. Third, while in travel form his speed did not increase, that is a bug well known to private servers.

So before you say this is real, read this comment and use your brain.

@TheFlyingMantis ok, it doesn't matter if you're in "secondworld" stormwind, it will still demorph you, also blizzard fixed that bug with HS in early 2008, therefor the only way this would happen is on a private server. End of discussion.

@blazerghost12 it is real, tis lag, i've had it happen before, where the connection fuck up, but i don't appear to be disconnected, and i can run around, and nothing loads, and either it catches up suddenly and loads happens, or i DC and log in miles back where the lag started... so not necesarily a private server...

@Shortkid110 yes... you can, i've had it where i was running round doing "summon voidwalker" with it apparently complete, still in the summoning pose, just running about for about 1-2 minutes... then it DC'd... but it's when the connection is so low it doesn't load quickly, but just enough to keep connected and try to load...

this has happened to me before its not a wotlk glitch....it happened to me in bc i hearthed to stormwind ended up like this and when i looked at my chat screen and general chat was in silithus....weird then i tried to go under stromwind....i fell into silithus....and i was on my lvl 20 warlock so yeah i was in trouble when i found the silithus raid and a group of lvl 70's do it....they guided me back to stormwind that was nice :D

This has happened because of the quest battle for undercity(horde) When you HS it will disapear so you can walk to thrall, but here is another glitch, when you abandon the quest, the city is still empty lol, forever. The only way to remove this glitch is by GM.

It doesn't depend on people being bad really. You could 20-man those bosses. Other players make it hard really. They can buff and heal the bosses, and kill raid members too :) So it depends on how lazy people are.
