I was at the show. The show was fanfuckintastic!!! These SF concerts were Crimson level or beyond. The band was sure amused, Tony's way grinning. She was an innocent drunk nothing out of the ordinary for San Fran. Wouldn't make people from SF even blink.
As far as I know they have broken up and Gunn mostly plays with Pat Masteletto.
-I hate having concerts ruined by drunken louts. It has happened to me so many times even seeing a woman like this probably would've sent me off into a rage.
This is an amazing track and I wish I had been in the audience - I would certainly have joined her in the dancing except I wouldn't have done what she did because I'm not quite as well endowed!!!

Out of all the great musicians to play in King Crimson, Trey does the most brilliant stuff out of it. Listening to this stuff you can hear just how influential he was on the Crims stuff he played on.
I would say that the band was amused by it, and at very least it was probably a change of pace for them. Like Mr. Fripp has always said (and this is far from a direct quote): you never see a woman at a King Crimson concert unless it's someones wife or girlfriend. I don't see how a Trey Gunn show would be much different, it's the same music basically.
There's one at every concert! No matter if it's some stoned hippy chick dancing topless at a Doobie Brothers concert or a prog show with prog snobs galore, there's always someone who loses control of their groove and diginity
