Seriously? It's sicking to use the exact thing that will bring our young ppl into the church. That genre of music has gospel artist that are saving lives just like christian, southren baptist, traditional and gospel music artist are doing... You keep on trying to save young ppl with hymns (and I love a good hymn) and see if your church gets full. You use what attracts them to bring them in and then love them to the Lord.

You dont use hymns or anything else to save souls, you just use the word of God and his word alone.I'ts not about filling a church with bodies it's about saving souls. Thats the problem with us we are to caught up on the church being full and not helping with the filling of heaven.If God's word change then we change our way of ministering but seeing that it will not change, then neither should we.

you are correct souls are saved through the word, music is just an insrtument...which means that they're can be all kinds of instruments, hymns are great but if a rapper who isn't familiar with hymns enters the kingdom of God for the first time you think God is going to tell hymn, "forget hip hop, start singing!" i don't think so God blessed them with the ability to rap they just need to know how to use it properly.
