To see the penguin swimming around lost in the murky water evokes the rawest piece of our collective human experience. Are we not all lost in the sea of our own ambitions, success’s, and failures. I’m reminded of this quote by Henry David Thoreau “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.” The penguin vainly struggles to catch the ethereal fish but its desperation will be its undoing, like most of life’s trials. It is humbling to say the least.
