I have 1981-1988 on DVD which I transferred across from VHS which aren't bad quality all things considered. Unfortunately I'm missing 1980 & 1989. Great series though. Wish they'd carried on into the 90's and 00's

You know, all that history, I learned from the show. Martin Luther King, Kennedy everything. Not taught at my useless school. Couldn't understand half my American novels til I saw this show, learn of segregation, etc

it was aired in 1994 but only included up to 1989

They will never be released on DVD as its too expensive to get the rights to all the songs and news clips. RTE did a version for Irish television and released it on DVD but this was cut down and only included clips owned by RTE.

last time they managed to stay on for a good few months before they were removed due to the "breach of copyright" nonsense - don't know about the moderators of youtube but aren't most of us on here from free countries that fought 2 wars to avoid becoming dictatorships? copyright laws are now dictatorship style

no luck mate. I started uploading 2 split vids from the 81 episode, first vid was blocked due to sony copyright, the secong audio muted. Thought things had been relaxed but its still a joke
