But for this, they have to born in Pakistan, learn the Urdu / Punjabi language, and rise in qawali, folk singing culture, with simiplicity of suifism, and people around them. Only then they can grasp the magic of Nusrat Fatih Ali Khan.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was an amazing singer. But, after all said and done, I feel he was not that great with his high pitches. The kind of control some singers have on their high notes is just breath taking and Fateh ji was not one of them. Nevertheless, he had his strengths and made good use of them in promoting a very old and beautiful form of sufi music.
