Yes, I hear the La Mer theme - nicely crafted. Who is your publisher for this? - sounds like something very "doable" for my students.

@maestrojimbo The publisher went by the name Nouveau Publicatuions LTD and was short lived. Alas, most of my 197 published works are now out of print, all victims of the economy. Thank goodness 3 are still with Leduc & Cie where I feel they will be much safer. Will tell you more in an email later. Gotta run now. Ps: I composed this work around 1985 and it was the ONLY work ever composed that went for a year before I wrote the actual notes on paper. ALL other pieces are notated as I go along.

@Candlegary If there is anything of mine on You Tube in my channel what you would like to record, you have my permission to do so any time you wish. Even the published pieces can be recorded, but the published notes not copied or zeroxed because they now belong to one of the publishers. So, please feel free! :-) With over 300 pieces, I feel I am about "written-out" now as a composer. LOL

@piano8091 Thank you. And to think that in the past the critics lodged against me that I am a copiest of Debussy and Ravel. Two entirely different sounds. Oh well, I had 197 piece published and they had none.

@seanalienko A great compliment. All my life I have been kicked by the critics as sounding like Debussy or Ravel. But you know, this is actually a very high compliment and I don't mind at all. There is much more of my music in my channel. Thank you for writing.

Wow............what a sensational comment. You are ever so kind as to make me blush. I had a terrible hang-up with this work and it took me over a year to finally be able to sit still long enough to notate it, and yet played it for people everywhere I went. I WILL be uploading more and more of my works.

i have never tried to play classikal music i play by ear and like to play some boogie woogie and some 50s ballads on my keyboard but this is great.keep it up man.

Yes, a bit mystic it is. Much use is made of the "Whole Tone Scale." Harmonies using the Diminished 5th quite often tend to sound mysterious. Claude Debussy (1862-1918) developed this technique to its fullest.
