cp rail has over 100,000 locomotives thats what a yard supervisor told me last year we are going with the ac4400 type locmotive and the sd40s are fadeing away the ac4400s are better comfort and easier to operate
@cprailengineer I believe you meant to write that the CPR has over 1,000 locomotives (the correct total); not "over 100,000 locomotives", (the total which you wrote).
the trains are much shorter and much lighter... and dont use so loud horns.. and some trains/locos have whistle so they dont use horn so often in residential areas or forests...
ok thanks maybe all trains on the american continent are heavy and can derail easy it depends on who or what railroad is responsible for their track and track repair and sometimes damage to the track or locomotives some railroads don't give a crap about the condition of their track in the first place.
i agree even when you a 1o5 car coal train derail now thats some serious damage they are always blaming it on something european trains are different from trains in america.
also, i bet by the time your 1st Arab-American president returns from Copenhagen he'll have signed over the late great U.S.A. constitution to the sons of David Rockefeller. Enjoy slavery you short-sighted fool.
hey go dis another country i live in canada and its great and it's southwestern BRITISH COLUMBIA it's not washington state so why should u care? oh and PS if u lived in canada u would be really offended by this. So just think about comments you say to the 2nd biggest country right next to u which gets almost all the oil to u.
Ah, good old CP Rail! Nothing but the finest in railroading. What subdivision did you do these videoes on? I know it's in British Columbia, but honestly, it almost kind of reminds me of Tehachappi, or maybe even the Union Pacific tracks that go through Highland on Cajon Pass. That's kind of cool.
very nice man. I live in Nelson British Columbia and there is a lot of really nice spots there. Nice job man hope to see more and agree with you guys. A cpr train just isnt right without our strong canadian horn.
Some gondolas do carry iron ore and ore sludge whatever you call them gondolas, train cars, scrap metal cars they are still the same the other railroad cars i see a lot of covered coil steel cars and the standard train car no matter if they Canadian Pacific or Canadian National i have a good choice on railroads in Canada and that is Canadian Pacific Railway.
Great video! Good the whole way through.

Excellent! I like the db sounds coming from that GE at Anderson Creek. I know the one crossing is at Spences Bridge, but is the other one at Lytton?
Nice horn sounds, and nothing sounds better than an AC4400 in the mountains...

ATributeToBCRail 3 years ago
Wow, is it just the wood supporting the train at the end on the bridge?
liobeking 3 years ago
I don't think it's just supported by wood. The structure itself is steel.

All Canadian engines on British Columbia Railway, Canadian National, Canadian Pacific and Via Rail sound better when they are in dynamic braking.
