Ron Paul, I have great admiration for you and I hope you die by natural causes (CIA stay away from him). Americans, vote this man, please. Greetings from Spain.
i would love for ANYONE to answer me this ...why havnt something like the HR 1207 bill ever been introduced before now.. and why the fuc* can the federal government legaly think that they cnat be audited they arnt shit.. they know what there doing
It's not the US government who caused this economic mess. It was private enterprise and market forces. Slavery was the peak of private enterprise for profit. Nazism was the peak of State authority for power. But both are run by people like you and me: humans.
why didn't the repubs select paul? mccain's pretty good but since 2001 he's sided with bush 90% of the time. whoever gets elected hopefully will have paul on their cabinet. he is a great asset to the country.
Because the party is corrupt for the most part (both parties for that matter) and they elect puppets not leaders. Ron Paul would bring real change and that's obviously not something either party wants, change scares the hell out of them and their wallets.
This is due or die people, we need to put the pressure on Congress. Write an email to a all your congressmen and women and/or make a phone call and say if they pass this bail out in any form they will be history come election which is coming up soon.
Don't expect the other guy to do it for you because he's probably thinking the same thing. We all need to do it, every one of us!
This is even more apparent when you take into account the fact that if the president doesn't agree with the congress he can force the congress to have a 2/3rds majority vote in order to enact anything, which would mean that suddenly congress might lack the ability to enact the powers granted to it by the constitution.
Can congress restore the constitutional balance in terms of who can declare war without a two-thirds majority? Nope. Why?
I don't think congress should have the right to delegate authority for future sessions. I think each session has the constitutional authority granted to it by the constitution and any previous delegating must be null and void or else the constitution has been violated.
After all, we wouldn't let the congress outlaw itself and remove all authority over everything?
So obviously the federal reserve act is unconstitutional because congress cannot handicap future sessions of congress.
I like your comment here. Thomas Jefferson feared that congress might find ways to bind future generations to commitments which they have not consented.... a fear he held for good reason.
I sleep slightly better at night knowing Dr. Paul is still out there causing commotions and challenging the system trying to expose our corrupt government for what it really is.
The Federal Reserve Bank is owned by private bankers - They owe their duty to their shareholders; not the USA!
It benefits them to get the US economy addicted to free flowing cash; they know they'll always get paid back with interest
That's why they bribed Senators in 1913 to (illegally) create an income tax on unapportioned wages - So they can use that same income tax to guarantee payback
US Constitution specifically forbade allowing anyone but Congress to print money - Thanks Pres Wilson!
Only a Republican president would put a stock broker at the helm of the Federal Reserve. But it's the same guy who put oil executives in charge of the reconstruction of Iraq. He's the man. The Prez has messed up big time and his party uncorked the champagne while it lasted.
The problem is not only a political one. It is also an ideological one. The US just believe in the wrong parameters just because some of the work. For example, to think that it is powerful enough to fight and win two wars. Or salvage Wall Street even though it proved to be a fallacy.
USA can win any war thats why they are in two wars do you honestly think people in caves even stand a chance,,, and what prophaganda do you think is the ideological path to success for America,, if your pleading muslim sympathy your pissin up the wrong tree my friend
The US lost the Vietnam War big time. Remember the helicopter scrambling from the top of the US embassy in Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City). In that war the US killed 1 million Vietnamese and 60,000 of their own brave soldiers. In Iraq and Afghanistan they have a long way to go still. They "only" killed 6,000 of their own and a few hundred thousands of the "enemy" which are of course including women, children and old men caught in the their "collateral" killing machine. WAKE UP !!!!
Ron Paul is too extreme. I understand his position but there are other ways to achieve it. He thinks the US is going socialist. The US State is big in the wrong places. The CIA, the Pengagon, the NSC all that costs a lot of money and it is fascistic.

How is that constitutional? It isn't at all.

The FED CAUSED 3 depressions in 30's by flooding market with currency, and then retracting currency from the market
Google it - look up the correlation of FED and collapse of business & unemployment
