Pretty impressive, especially the fight choreography. I love the editing. How many tiimes did you shoot the fight bits, to get all those different angles. Canon was a great choice, now all you need is Magic Bullet, get it looking like film in no time. You just got me to subscribe.
I Think you just ninja clawed yourself in the foot with this amazing video...if you did this with the kit lens, I can't imagine what you would do with primes.
awesome- I'm no longer discouraged from being a rebel with the 5D2
Stu, it looks great. You are a a good director. However, this whole thing reeks of video. Obviously not your fault but a bit of a turn off for me. Again, I did enjoy your work but this could have been something special with a different camera choice.
Excellent effort, Stu. I can get past the 30p, but I cannot get past the jello-cam effect. The 5D2 doesn't take well to fast motion action shot run 'n gun style. Works great for less active styles of filmmaking, though.
Yeah, it's 30p. Yes, you can tell. But it still looks amazing and you can't get anything this good for at this price tag outside of the 5D MkII. Looks like a little HV20/HV30 footage mixed in as well.
Exactly those rookies don't know anything! Looks as sharp as Panavisions PRIMO series lenses! Excellent buddy!!! Looking forward to all your coming projects!!!

You guys are a bunch of peons. If you did not know this was 30p you couldn't even tell. What cameras are you shooting with, huh? HV20, 30 or some other little shit camera with a lens adapter? Gimme a break, this shit looks great and you'll never touch an image close to looking like that without spending 18 grand for just the body.
I think this video looks amazing...but I gotta agree, the 30 fps takes away from the beautiful cinematic quality of the lenses, picture and color. I think if this were 24p, it would look better than most action films, especially Bourne.
You're work is great, but the 30fps thing looks just bad. Don't get me wrong I love the things you do. I've read the guide, and it helps me alot, but i think, 5d mark 2 is bullshit!

Looks great, and the 30p doesn't distract me at all... go figure.

the fight scenes were good, I think there's too much motion with the cameras.
the 30p didn't work for me. It felt like I was watching a documentary or something.

To me the 30p looks impeccable on this film !!
Amazing job bro,Don't get caught up in that 24p mess...lol
do you think most people who go to the movies
sit there and say hay this look like it was shot in 24p.or 30p,no I don't think so''
they are looking for a good movie with good story board ,and plot.
the people here are just saying that because they know it don't shoot 24p,and they are want to be film makers as well !!
other then that good job.

Very nice footages. To me, too much meaningless editing (cut) especially the beginning. Fight scene is good. Please share more~!!

Until now, it's the best 5D II Footage I've seen so congratulations, it really looks amazing, especially in the the parts with less movement.
I really dig the bokeh. But the motion blur is really aggressive.
Still better than any camera I used in my studies so far...
I really would like to make movies with you! :)

It looks quite good but lack of 24p is quite apparent and unfortunately really takes away from it for me.

Looked great! I'm guessing the cop car shot was an HV20 captuer.

It's not so much the 30fps as it is the shutter speed that adds the "video look" to things.

Fine work Stu!
You need to do a prequel, the subway is where the real drama happens :)

Nice. Some of the sounds effects got repetitive, IMO, and did I detect some Reelsmart motion blur on there?

30p looks great!!!!
A++++ on comp and stunt co--ordination.
A little dark at the end but in 720p on a calibrated monitor I am sure it is solid!!!!
All in All Awesomeness!!!
