Interesting reading people, the ballkid is my son. He is fine and was back to work after an enforced day off and a check over by the aus. open Doctor. He is back for his 4th and final year as a ballkid in 2012. The incident happened in his first year and Del Potro was fantastic, he apologised and showed genuine concern. Del Potro held up a TV interview post match to ask after my son and he gave him a bandana. Our entire family now follow Del Potro closely and wish him well in Aus. 2012.
