I loved how engaging his character was to kids throughout the entire performance. What a great way to make history come alive. This is definitely a great way to inspire kids about the lasting contributions immigrants have made on American history and modern culture.

I met Lou DelBianco when I hired him as a storyteller for my daughter's birthday party. That was many, many years ago. Lou is the best story teller. My children are 25 and 22 and still talk about Lou's stories and songs. " In the Shadow of the Mountain" is a true history lesson to teach the children. Teaching it in a story is a wonderful way for the kids to learn. Lou, this is the best story yet. Your Uncle Luigi would be so proud of you.
