I love psychological thrillers, anything weird/twisted/meaningful and virtually anything that really makes you think, but I truly hated this. I thought this movie was going to have some sort of deep meaning behind the basic plot, but it really didn't. It was confusing, frustrating, and a waste of time. I wanted to walk away 3 times while watching and I should have. Love Val Kilmer, but this movie was terrible.

I was struck by Kilmer's performance. After seeing this flick I really think the producers of Batman the Dark Night should give him the part of the Joker for the next movies of the franchise. It is clear that Val Kilmer is the only actor that could do it well.

And also, there are a lot of similarities between the lives of Kilmer and Ledger. Both were very talented young actors. Both have a history of drug use. Ledger died , Kilmer survived.
