  • why exactly did u get one that ran on battery. the engine models are more suited to the needs and demands of a utv than an electric one.

  • Mattracks makes several models of their tracks for a variety of vehicles. I would contact them about your Impreza needs. Often it is brackets etc that need to be designed for each vehicle they put them on.

  • Driving over the dirt mounds were indeed integral! We were nervous at first; that's why the vehicle backs up and turns left on first attempt.

  • The top speed was reduced. We don't remember by exactly how much it was a noticeable decrease though. The vehicle feels 2 - 3 times more capable and more stable with tracks on. Battery life was decreased but our time measurement may have been off because of a locked brake actuator. Due to no coasting capabilities with tracks I would expect battery life to decrease. We will have to test again for more accurate measurement.

  • awesome

  • Would these be strong enough to hold my Subaru Impreza?

  • I'm sure that driving over the dirt mounds were an integral part of the research process. :p

  • Thanks for publishing this video. I've been working with Mattracks and Polaris trying to put together exactly the same solution, but nobody was sure what it would be like.

If you would, please provide whatever observations or measurements you've made on performance changes (battery life, climbing, top speed, etc.) Thanks!
