Mr. Baucham, the bible is not internally consistant. Number two, the bible does not have corroboration in what is written. Number three, the bible is not reliably written.
@rubberbulletsofsteel Do you want to know the problem with debating an atheist that I have learned the hard way? They always expect a non-religious answer to a religious question. You may ask how we know the Bible is accurate and we have men like the fine man in this video that attempt to answer that but it is never enough. Which part of this video was not logical? Explain. Or are you only making unsupported thus non-logical bashes on Christianity for no good reason?
I'm not trying to bash anyone. All I am saying is that it does not make any sense to assume the implications of the bible are true to prove the bible.
@rubberbulletsofsteel "Stupid Christians!" then, "I'm not trying to bash anyone." Really?
"All I am saying is that it does not make any sense to assume the implications of the bible are true" They are not assumed to be true, this video talks about how they ARE true as far as historical accuracy goes.
"to prove the bible." Again I say that you should not expect a non-religious answer to a religious question. I can't "prove" a Holy Book is true. The best I can do is show you facts.
Belief in a deity is ignorance of reality.Reverting to name calling wasn't necessary. A cult in the context I was expressing is a group within a group professing ownership of the truth.From my perspective worshipping a deity is bizarre behavior. Sorry if I offended you. You did post this video for all to see but not all will agree.
@unitruth From Wiki: The word CULT pejoratively refers to a group whose beliefs or practices are considered abnormal or bizarre. The word implies a group which is a minority in a given society. The popular, derogatory sense of the word has no currency in academic studies of religions.
Considering the definition of the word "cult" your comment exudes ignorance.
On those days when I need that little "knock" on the head about the validity and authority of the Scripture and faith, Brother Voddie helps me see things. God is good... and He's quite real too folks!
Creation is right: God blew his bad breath( no toothpaste yet) over a clump of mud and voila, it became alive and upright, and all was well. Question, did Adan have a penis ? Because Eve was only created when Adam complained about loneliness. What if god had given Adam a motorbike or a computer and he felt satisfied, no longer lonely, we would still be living in the garden of eden
Thanks, This guy is has just remained being so inspirational. I only slightly noticed the way he exists the stage, and after thinking about it I gotta say it's admirable. I think it was Charles Finny who quipped that a preacher of the Word should not stand above the Word... but rather be invisible beneath the Word.... or something to that effect.
i love how faithful he is to the Word no matter the setting. VB is by far one my favoe preachers... altho, I wished he doesnt make it a habit just to walk off stage like that. i also noticed he did that at the basics pastors' conference after one of his messages. its a bit abrupt. oh well. jus wanted to thanks for the post man!

Judaism is the oldest religion in the world like it or not but that's a fact read the Old Testament
hannahr77 2 years ago
@hannahr77 well that is true. I agree. It predates even early Chinese spirituality.

@hannahr77
Is that true? I've heard Hinduism is older but I don't know if the source was exactly accurate.
