@FokasSk8er I don't like super tight strings. It's way easier to get stronger sounding attack and much easier on your fingers with a slight bit of slack. Probably be too loose in drop A

Honestly, the best thing I can tell you is to learn to read tabs as soon as you get your guitar. Once you understand tabs and the frets, you'll be on your way!

I have a question. How come you mute the guitar on the first fret during the breakdowns? It seems like it would be a lot harder to play as you have to switch to the higher frets very quickly. Why not just tune the guitar so you can just play it open stringed?
