Will SLC (to my knowledge, the most stable type of flash) drop in price and/or raise in capacity anytime soon?

@balisticjoe If you're going with an SSD you have no excuse not to use it in conjunction with an HDD for your data. SSDs are still no where near as stable as HDDs and give little or no warning signs of failure. Just go for max performance and keep anything important to you backed up to an HDD at all times.
