Can someone help me. When I go to change my Log on screen through Control Panel and click on 'Change the was users log on or off', a pop up window comes up saying 'A recently installed program has disabled the Welcome screen and Fast User Switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall the program. The following file might help you identify the program that made the change: RtlGina2.dll'. I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to fix it or show me a video that fixes it

dude this really stupid...why not just dload the logon loader from wincustomize and then dload or make your own logon and let the loader manage your lagons, it dosent use any noticeable resources, and it works 100% of the time, plus its 100% free,..lol..nice try though...but you fail

dude i cant find the logonui.exe in system 32 but there are several files that has "logon" on its file name like logon, logonui.exe.manifest, and logonui. what should i do?

i have a problem, my computer changed the logon screen to classic mode, and i want it back to the normal way, do u know how to do that??? it won't let me manually change it in the user accounts thingy

the normal way is the way that u said that "everyone hates" (but i don't) and i can't set the logon screen to that. It was automatically changed to the "classic" mode, the way it was before xp. when i try to change it, a message says a recent installed program has disabled that feature.

im not sure y you're getting that message but maybe the file you downloaded doesn't work for some reason. to get back to the 'normal' way copy the backup (in the vid i said to make a logonui.bak file) onto the logonui.exe.

so go into safe mode (f8 thing) then go to windows\system32 then type copy logonui.bak logonui.exe

should work

yeah i got that too, its just a box withy a blank screen behind it, and when try to change to the XP one says please uninstall "something" from the system 32 folder, its f'ing pissing me off!
