I'm not trying to convert you guys or anything, but you can't be like "shut up with this religion crap, I just want to listen." You can feel that way of course, but don't argue for it, because some of us are actually inspired by the meaning they put into everything they do.

I don't get annoyed when they sing about their admiration for a missionary in 'Indonesia'. I still love that song and appreciate what they're trying to convey. ABR's lyrics have to do with salvation, spirituality, the need of God, eternity, and so on. These lyrics are soooo deep... if only you really heard what they were saying.

@Lycanpaester well the lyrics are indeed about very different things, but the point is, and you can't deny that, that the words in rise against songs are much better chosen in a literarily way. also the lyrics themselves aren't deep in this song, it's more the meaning or better said the meaning that you interpret into them what makes them deep for you. The lyrics of Rise Against songs are describing are situation or grievance not directly but in an emotional, paraphrasing way.

@Veltiorx Rise Against does describe their feelings in their songs, but ABR referances their songs to Bible passages and visions and prophecies. Both bands have their advantages, and both bands build people up positively. But in different ways, the messages in ABRs songs are spiritual and most often helpful in spiritual battles with demons, addiction, and so on. I have nothing againts either bands, but if you really think about it..reealllyy think about it, theres such passion in their words.
