Diverticulosis information, diagnosis, condition and treatment.

After experiencing abdominal pain I went in for an upper GI with barium double contrast. The test identified a duodenum diverticulum. I've had some bright red bleeding and waiting to have a colonoscopy. I'm a male; 6'3"; 210lbs; 35 yrs of age. The Radiologist and doctor both agreed that this is very uncommon for my age and place of diverticulum. Any tips or suggestions?

Do not worry. Talk to your physician, follow a reasonable diet and lifestyle, if it becomes a problem later on, there is treatment.

At timely intervals, do have your colonoscopy.
