At 4, a kid knows that a toilet is a gross place that makes things disappear. I believe this kid just liked the swirlyness of the water and was aware of the grossness and the disappearingness, but didn't care, because he's a bad kid. There really isn't any other explanation for it. Other users put it well when they said that a kid would logically use a sink or a bathtub to clean the puppy because that is where they clean themselves, and not the place where they go do the deed.

I don't think it's right for anyone to say how many children is too many. Every family is different, some have 1 some have 7, but no one should feel the right to dictate that to anyone.

Thank god they could save the puppy. But is there any realistic way of punishing the child and/or the parents? I honestly don't think so. You can't really blame the child. He's 4 and thought the puppy should be clean. It was an accident. End of.

The parents should have prevented those kids from getting their hands on it, puppies are not allowed outside untill they are old enough and have had vaccinations, and that puppy definately hadn't had them. A four year old should know better! It's not something they should not understand really, and the worst thing is, is that they keep the puppy. Why didn't the RSPCA say that they couldn't keep it because the parents obviously can't control their own kids let alone a puppy!
