I have never heard this song before today. This afternoon as the sun went low and the full moon took it's place i found these words and music by accident.... and I don't think I'll ever be the same. I can;t even explain it as of yet. I just know I broke down and sobbed. I wanted my family and friends near to sit by a fire and tell stories and drink beer until we fall to sleep... I wanted to listen and try harder to be a better person... knowing as of this point it will never be enough.

This song is one of many highlights of The Year Of The Leopard - I had no idea there was a video for it! The moving pictures are absolutely perfect.

I saw James Yorkston live a bit ago, if you like his music you should definitely try to get tickets sometime. It was an incredible gig, just Mr Yorkston alone on stage for two and a bit hours of pure perfection.

I bet she'd change her tune if I told her my album had peaked at number 172 and that I also had friends who worked in bars and that didn't define who they are
