  • awesome abaya.

  • i hav that 2nd abiya..my mom got it from dubai for me..

  • @nycforever98 whats ur age?

  • why the fuck this bitch was allowed by the arabs in UAE???

  • I dont see it as oppressing and I'm from America... if it's their choice to do this then don't discriminate it.. I think all the different creative work and seams and the work on the sleeves were beautiful. I could be mistaken but i think i saw one with pleats and the inseam was a pattern??? neat :)

  • so fashionable<3 wallah!

  • Now THESE are abayas I would wear! None of that drab, plain black for me!

  • so what if these abayas are flashy, does it mean that every middle eastern muslimah is wearing them? just because hollywood projects an image of blonde bimbos, you dont expect us north americans to all be peroxide blonde and 34DD, do ya? jesus people, watch the video and take a fucking chill pill.

  • @GangstaLiciousThug lol I'm not a fatty faggot!

  • thats right.... a hijab covers the hair.. which in the Holy Quran it states thats what a woman must to.. there is nothing said about covering the face... im not against the hijab.. im not against anything. i just dont agree with covering face.. thats it!

  • @chocbumbles GET sumfin ta cover yur fat!!!

  • @Aliyah15 Oh here come the Allah Police. What's wrong with mingling our culture with modern culture, its not like they're stripping. Are you implying that the women of the Prophet's time behaved like hermits, and did not adorn themselves? Get over your judgmental self.

  • @vampiiress The same men who are policing women to be (extremely) modest are the same men who have the worst thoughts and intentions about women. They know how there evil minds work so they want the women around them to be invisible . Why should women have to suffer and become a blank invisible slate.....

  • @bonzaibb12 you're stance on the subject isnt clear, mate. what team are you even rooting for?

  • @bonzaibb12 to you it might be making a woman invisible... but to me its giving the woman the respect she deserves.. why should i woman be recognized or liked for her figure? is her face not enough? her mind? it's all in how u look at it.. i see the hijab as liberating a woman from the constraints soceity puts on us to be big-breasted.... have long flowing locks.. have certain features & a certain figure.. look hot in a bikini... to me... THAT is oppression and demeaning

  • @myraceishumanity Because you have been tought to believe a womans features are not important.

They are and were given to us by Allah. Only woman who have been made to feel bad believe there mind and body are not a whole feature that go together. You have been trained and broken with every possible

propaganda and brainwashing techiniche to believe what a society of jelous men want you to believe.

Modesty and beuty can and do go together well there is no need to give one of them up.

  • @bonzaibb12 I agree.. modesty and beauty do go together... i think many woman look very beautiful in hijab.. they dress nicely... do makeup... i'm not really sure what you're arguing with me about.. the hijab is about protecting a woman from being harrassed by men when she goes out.. really its common sense.. a girl wearing tight clothes does get stared at and called after as compared to one dressed modestly..

  • why do muslims have so many rules on what to wear. if a woman is showing her hair and wearing a dress that shows her legs she is not going 2 hell. if she wants to cover herself than she can but why force her?

  • @Joshy51112 i am muslim, practicing but do not wear a hijab! there is nothing religiously stating that women must be forced to cover it.. it is unfortunately some arab country's regulations to cover up.. its more a cultural thing than religion.. Dont misunderstand, muslim women should be covered but no one has the right to force them!

  • @chocbumbles

You are not muslim ! you are australian bitch LOL ALLAH AKBAR !!!

  • @chocbumbles, i am sorry it has noting to do with the culture, it is something in our religion. Hijab for a woman is to cover hear head, her arms till her hands. Now when the wear a full veil or face cover that becomes a culture. and when they wear gloves that becomes culture.

  • @Joshy51112 you've got a valid point, but let me correct you on one thing: no one forces anyone, especially a muslim woman to do anything. i am not denying there are wife beating fanatics out there, but ultimately, Allah has given everyone a choice.

  • ohh please people get over yourselves islam is not about dressing only it is about conduct. Think about that

  • Astaghfirullah, This is not Islam.

  • Masha allah very nice attrctive

exploitation, glamour in sab ne abayae burqay yani parde ko bhi apni yalghaar ka nishana bana lia hai...

  • check out the latest fashion out of Dubai, in the Dubai Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011 collection... including Abaya designs from Hanayen and Rouge Couture...

  • 0:08 is my favorite

  • Does most of the women in Dubai dress this way? It's totally haram to show our hair (even the front half), and pluck the eyebrows. The Abayahs are very pretty, but should be worn with modesty. We have to stick to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah Inshallah. May Allah Guide us All. Ameen

  • @Saleema78

    Respect to you!

  • the abayas r fantastic, but i dont think its nice for women to display them selves in this way. these lovely muslim women should wear the abaya 2 cover themselves not for display and attract attention, ain't that the real meaning of abaya???????????

  • wow they r beautiful mashallah

  • @Aliyah15 whats wrong with the abaya's? they're covered from head to toe, its loose around the curves? is it the flashy colors? who created the colors to be pleasing to the eyes??

  • @TheSnowhite89

there are some of the abayas shown above that are not actually covering the head and other body parts properly. and, the modesty values are the one that are missing here. i think, that is what @aliyah15 try to convey.

  • DISGUSTED!!!!

  • @xoxsairaxox i guess yur disgusted

  • @nyczboi69 oh no doubt they are very beautiful mashallah but im disgusted by the fact how they are presenting this, they are totally mocking the hijab, anyways Allah knows better may he give such women hidayath ameen.

  • @nyczboi69 wow r u a women if you're i guess your hating on them haha c'mon girll dont do that plz im maself is a male model and u seems like a matured person so act like 1 honey they r beautifull love them Muuuaaahzzzz<3

  • WOW BEAUTIFUL ABAYA

  • yeh kesa hijab hai?

    Shame on U

  • im going to take these designs to a tailor! absolutely love these! <3

  • I like the abays but the sleeves are way too big for my liking, I prefer straighter sleeves that are just wide enough to give free movement. the hijabs are nice though

  • beautiful abaya..!!!!!

  • well, i believe as long as we keep the concept of covering our bodies, then we are still doing it right.

Each era has its fashion, not wearing the same doesn't mean we aren't doing it right.

Going back to the islamic history you will see that in men and women fashion.

There are abayas that are just not covering the body, that's are the ones that we should point out. But as long as it still covers the body, then i see no problem.

We love being stylish and that makes us love wearing it.

  • these kind of fashion shows should be encouraged in all Muslim countries with only female audiences like in Dubai..

but they should not be broadcast on tv as it breaks the principles of hijab and modesty..

  • are our religion is not enough to follow abaya rather we have opt such shows, what we complaint to others .... if v dont follow it is not big deal but we should not harm dignity of islamic dress .... thanx

  • i agree with aliyah15 we should respect our tradition of islam

  • @ziddiapka yes but it's 2011 and a little fashion isn't bad! especially for the younger modern generation

  • in pakistan they should get rid of cheap old burkhas,,,and make a new trend of ABAYA.....I have seen many pakistani woman girls wearing it...they always be mistaken for an ARAB :)

  • I like to think that women is pakistan will like to wear abaya, but burkhas are now mostly used by red area women to hide the face you can usualy see the curves of the body though....the rest of women are either using chaders or some are using abayas.....

  • @underworld786 yahh ur rittt loool many pakizzz wear abayazz n dey look like arabss....n also most of paki girlss goodlooking toooo....

  • we somalis wear it and we love it!!!!

  • Abaya shoud be worn in pakistan...it's so gracefull...
