  • I watched the full first series of Higurashi......it still creeps on me in my sleep

  • Check wikipedia higurashi no naku koro ni the song

  • What recording thing were you on when you did this? XD

  • @ElliotElric But we can still pretend it was subliminal messages so we get that creepy, jittery shiver that always passes thru our bodies when we watch too much Higurashi. ;)

  • @AyaLynnLurve I am already really scared to watch that series because of its "You can't escape" content, I'm not amazed that the song might say it in reverse too. . .

  • This is epic!

  • It's not really a subliminal message. It was most likely Eiko's play on words.

  • dude thats so cool and wierd. thats so friken cool!

  • omg! I always was in really deep fought when I heard those parts! maybe because of this??? XD

but I always wanted to know what that mumbeling was... so thanks...

but is this real, I mean also offical from the creators? I really want to know! >,< but if its true it would be kinda creepy... why? I don't know! xD

  • I dun understand... Any English translation? Sorry for the inconvenience...

  • @lamshutingpearl End of the video, or read the video description. Nigerarenai[nda] = "[I/you] can't escape".

  • this is not a lie, and the full translation of the reversed part that make sense is... no where to escape, no where to escape, i see you, no where to escape, loving you, you are there, no matter how fast you run, I will catch up, share the feast of flesh and blood, falling in, let me...

  • WTF!?!?!? I WAS BEING LIED TO!?!?!?!? IM GONNA GET OYASHIRO-SAMA TO KILL THEM!!!

  • dude that's trippy as crap

  • this just make me love the songs so much more :D sooo cool! i love eiko shimamiya and her creepy songs :)

  • omfc!...O.O

  • This is mad creepy!

  • Genio scrivi "it doesn't make sense" invece di "non ha senso" <.<

  • so in the backwards of kai op it sounds like hanni hara hare hi, and that backwards sounds like nigerarenai and THAT means you cannot escape, weird.

    i sence some trolling

  • That is...very...creepy...I STILL LOVE HIGURASHI! :D

  • Backwards it's nigerarenai(Nigerarenainda) and it means "[You] can't escape".

In the Kai opening it's in a lower pitch.

  • O_O

  • ...Oh. my. gosh. nigerarenai. i will say that. and reverse it. and it will probably say hanni hara hare hi...

  • the openings sound like one antother that cool!

Io nn riesco a farlo o.O

  • Of course the show isnt already creepy enough . . . -__-

  • My face (o_o)

Then my face after google translating the last sentence (O_O)

  • My face (0_0)

  • Holy crap thats the ending to the second op!!!!!!

  • That's pretty cool. Great job on finding that.

  • Just for the people that are wondering/asking, they DID do this on purpose.

... It's still creepy, though, intended or not. D:

  • E' un po' forzato...

  • So in the Kai opening, when reversed, it says "hanni hara hare hi" which, reversed is "nigerarenai". So, is it like double reversed since the phrase in the opening obviously doesn't say "nigerarenai"?

  • it makes sense the whole you cannot escape because of the fact of the never ending june

  • lol i like how u gave the video u were watching in ur video a five. lol i thot id point that out. lol

  • I suspected something..But not this. Mind blow. Chills....

  • Huh, I WONDERED what that was supposed to mean, or if it even meant anything

  • What program are you using

  • @DailyTiff audacity

  • well it is a psychological type story... do you really know your friends..?

  • It's even creeper that it's the same thing. When you reversed it my eyes: O-O

  • Comment removed

  • The on in Rei is a lot creeppier

and the reversal of OP 2 is the same as the normal lyrics(unreversed) of OP1 o.O

  • OMG dA COSA NN PUOI SCAPPARE?

  • @oOCuTiEcUtEOo that one made me almost piss my pants cuz of d demonic chanting O_o

  • i hope they did it on purpose OoO

  • That same sentence/voice was in "Naraku no Hana", too, or am I just hearing things?

  • I must admit, that the people who made "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni", Eiko Shimamiya and the others who made the openings of it are genius. The second opening is the reversal of the first. And the words... OMG.. awesome.

Great video man, keep it up.

  • how did you make audacity record from the computer and not the mic. ???

  • I know how to speak Japanese,so I know all too well on what they have once you do it in reverse or tweak it.

  • They do it in every opening (Even in Rei), therefore Ryukishi07 and the rest of 07th Expansion (Including Studio DEEN), must REALLY not want you to escape.

  • the begginning chant backwards sounds like the end chant forwards

  • LOL thats CREEPY How did Ryukishi07 managed to do it with both of the OPs??

  • Whoa... Wired...

  • If you noticed, in Naraku no Hana reverse, you can hear "hanni hara hare hi."

  • im 11 and i love this show!

  • O.o you cannot escape

  • *shat bricks* hoooooooo shiz!!!

  • That's awesomely creepy, but is meant more so for the characters... still would make an awesome creepy pasta =)

If you find out the meaning of the chanting in super scription of Data, I'd be so happy.

  • @starstarSTARS2 I believe the chanting in Super Scription of Data were along the lines of "I'm going mad","Let's go", "But I can't stop...","I can't take anymore of this..."

    :)

  • @JuliaPhobia Oh, thank you! <3

  • @JuliaPhobia O.o that is really creepy Ryukishi07 is a genius

  • @JuliaPhobia then what was it originally? like, it was japanese right? what was the romaji?

  • I think that this is meant to be found since this anime isn't for kids.

  • how can i do that on my computer

  • o.o

  • theres demonic chanting in higurashi rei..its realllyyyy creppy

  • No wonder I always get chills when I listen to those parts... I really can't escape O_O

  • Rykiyushi07 wrote such a mind-trip of a story. It makes sense that he'd put hidden messages in the anime adaption.

  • Good to watch higurashi at night. WHERE OYASHIRO SEES YOU?

but subliminal messages are not real.

Just like the sky and and sea, when you see them UP SIDE DOWN

its kinda weird the sea is still the sea

and the sky is still the sky

but our eyes is stupid enough to see it clearly

  • lol this is totally going to my "scraeh shit" playlist - w -

  • They did it on purpose, if you didn't know, they play the "hanni hara hare hi" backword in Kai at the end of the intro, it's not truely a subliminial message because it was obvious it was backwords, namely the last syllabol being said louder then the rest, normally you do that with the first. Nice Examination, though.

  • I don't know if this is a coincidence or not.

  • I'm still wondering who found that in the first place...

  • dude, they did that on purpose, because that is the theme of the whole anime, I looked it up on wiki, don't worry about it, it's not meant to be a subliminal msg or anything, it's meant to be found

  • Non Me Ne Ero Mai Accorta O_O ...è Inquietante ._.

  • haha at first i was like holy crap ( it was like 3am when i first heard this) now im like hey higurashi kai COOL

  • The opening part of the theme sounds like the ending of the short version of Naraku no Hana

  • ee ehh ahh ahh , the reverse part~ o-o . that is higurashi kai's op during ending there

  • When i found this out i was like''HOLY SHIZZLE!THATS SO WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!''

  • O___O a me fa paura 'sto anime xD

  • Inescapable。

  • i found something!

  • Knowing this show,it was on purpose XD

  • This is creepy. >_>

I thought it sounded familiar. The music even sounds comparable.

  • I wonder if that's intentional

  • a me sembra nigeraranai o nigeranai XD

  • whether Higurashi is VERY creepy, the plot is amazing!

  • I remember something like that...in an english dub...the chick put that part backwards...and when you put it forwards...it says "You cannot escape." Clever...

  • No wonder I'm addicted!

And no wonder I've been going "Hara hara haraiiii"

  • I have always foud it fun kool and fascinating how nigerarenai was reversed in the 1st op since I 1st heard about it and that even the music is similar but I think I like hearing nigerarenai better than hanni hara hare hi lol.

  • omg that backwards part is from naruka no hana! o.o

  • Ok people...I dont mean to criticize but here's my explanation which many other people also said in other vids...

In Naraku no Hana, it doesnt say ieranain, It says nigerarenainda which means "you cannot escape" like it says in the vid. But in op 1, it is reversed becuz probably season 1 is the puzzle arc and thus the reversed sound. Its played correctly in op 2 cuz season 2 is the answer arc. So it isnt exactly Hanni Hara hare hi, if u listen closely it's more like ad-ni-aner-aregin.

  • Since nigerarenai means "Can't escape" what about hanni hara hare hi?

  • @blahoon What does hanni hara hare ni mean?

    hara= field

    hare= clear

    ni= resemblance/like

Thats all i got TT.TT don't kill me, kill my japanese/english dictionary. What does hanni mean again?

  • wow. i'm speechless. this is just plain amazing.

  • "Nigerarenai" means something like "you can't escape", more literally "can't run".

I knew about the reversed sounds already, but it's still pretty creepy. x3

  • This is All Clearly The Curse of Oyashiro-sama!! D:

  • @LurkayZer0

    SPOILERS!!!

DON'T SAY MY HANYUU AU IS A CURSE D:

  • When u reversed Naraku no Hana, I cud hear Hanni hara hare hi...Creepy O_O They even made the openings weird like the anime......SWEET!!!!! Now I love Higurashi even more!!! :D

  • 5:25 how come i could hear "hanni hara hare hi?"

  • i was making a Rena avatar while this was playing. thank heavens i'm not all alone in this room o____O

  • dude its a old jap lanuage for wolrd of darkness and a world of sadness

  • LOL

  • nigerarenai means "you cant escape"

    Creepy huh? O_O

  • chuck norris could escape...

    that's pretty cool ^^

  • Oh... That's kinda creepy. o.o

But then again, this is Higurashi we are talking about.

  • omg the hanni hara hare hi backwards sounds just like the ending part of the second op !! naraku no hana!!

  • Lol that's cause it is~ That's what the 'nigerarenai' in Naraku no Hana is~ Intentionally, anyway.

Actually, the OP for one of the games, Matsuri, is called 'escape'. Not sure if that means anything related, but eh~

  • do the actual words "hanni hara hare hi" have a meaning?

  • oh kami o.o 'sta cosa mette terrore......*scappa*

  • ...I will escape, Higurashi !!!

  • I did. Haha, Hinamizawa.

  • that explains the chant!!!!!!

  • Lol it always scared me when rika waves goodbye.

    Now i know why

    lol

  • i actually noticed when i heard the opening for the third time after seeing the 1st season "saw second season first xD"

that sound was played again but seemed different somehow now i know why xD

  • am i the only one creeped out by the sound of naraku no hana being played backwards?

  • Did they do that on purpose? If not, that's really scary.. o_o

  • i think when people make a song that they are not going to reverse it like "lets have a look if this has a message backwatds" dont think that they would do that

  • @ny4ju5td01t It was on purpose. :D Still coolio though

  • @ny4ju5td01t They did do it on purpose. Because if you think about it, Rika's trapped in repeating worlds,so really, She really can't escape. You should check out Higurashi Rei's opening. ._. It's WAY creepier than this.

  • sounds more like nigerarenainda.

which is pretty much the same meaning: you can not escape.

  • some pretty good detective work

  • what means iranain??

  • nothing

  • @listenthesilent2 go to translate google and from english to japanese type in " ni ge rarenai " and show romanization to read " Higurashi no Ge rarenai "

  • @arianaa95extreme What they are saying is "nigerarenai" and it means "You cannot escape"

  • That subliminal message was probably meant to be found because Higurashi no Naku Kori ni is messed up

  • @CodeRosario if you go to the music part of the higurashi article in wikipedia, it tells you it right there

  • Wow, that is cool. Also, it sound like something from the 2nd op too. O.O

  • That's the point.

  • Greaaat *o*

i love this song it's so strange and so awesome!

  • thats scary *.*

  • Wow, tute 'ste cose non le sapevo!!! Grazie!

  • you forgot the opening of higurashi REI(new season only 3 episodes ,maybe the is coming more :D:D:D:D)

  • That's so creepy it's awesome. <33

  • they most likely did that on purpose cuz of the story of the anim

  • Nigerarenainda significa "Non puoi scappare".

  • XD

    Incridible!!! Really cool!!!

  • wow that's weird...
