If you really think about it, Bay's version really defines the real transformers. Robots in Disguise! Personlly i don't like Bay but the transformers don't look like robots with car parts on them, but alien- like robots. Don't get me wrong, I love G1, it's my #1 fav, (2 is RID,3 is BW) but None of the transformers we've seen so far looks like real robots like Bay's( and don't get me started about BW)

I just noticed it that 7-4-7 the movie release date is the plane used to crash against the World Trade Center a Boeing 747 - ties with the Transformers a ship crashing on an enormous mountain.
