The Santo stuff was great. Don't dis Pat Hughes like that. He does a great job despite that old Cub. I grew up in the 60's watching Santo, and respect the hell out of him as a ballplayer. He's a very strong willed man dealing with his health problems.

I'm in California and had never heard him. Was in my car today listening to the Cubs/Mets game on XM radio and actually thought Ron Santo was a drunk guest in the broadcast booth. After every inning I kept expecting him to be gone. I can't believe this guy is for real. I actually called a friend from the car and asked him if he knew who the color guy for the Cubs was, because I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
