As far as Milkshake goes if you are a fan of Kelis you'd know that's no where near her best material. You need to Check out "Kaleidescope", "Tasty" for a real measure of what Kelis is like. "Kelis Was Here" was just to try to get a grip in the North American market and Milkshake worked. She's HUGE in Europe and this is before "Milkshake" . Don't sleep on Kelis. (cont)

This is a SOLID CD and it's way better than "Kelis Was Here ". It's like She broke up with Nas and then said, "Screw this I'm going back to being eccentric." Andre, Janelle AND Kelis are all brilliant artist! Don't hate!

she is an amazing singer. I went to the No Doubt concert in NJ a few months ago and she opened for them. Amazing voice. Liek Opera meets Hip/Hop. She is talented beyond belief. Plus she can dance and her style is interesting. hope she gets the spotlight she deserves. Question: Why does music always have to have objective lyrics? Why cant the purpose just be to make someone dance or feel good? If ppl dont like certain music/lyrics they just shouldnt listen to it. Problem solved.

Janelle is one of the smart ones, Diddy came to her, she has her own label and works in conjunction with Atlantic records with Badboy helping with marketing/Promo and it’s worked just the way it should work for an artist as talented as Janelle.

All Diddy gets is the priviledge of being associated to something legitimately creative and authentic
