ok, there was another one that took place over essex and one b17 crashed in essex and the other just off the beach in allhallows in kent, the one in kent is still out there and back in the 80's when the tide went out you could still see some of the wreckage, i know that because my brother and his friends used to go digging around it and bring back lots of bits, when the police found out about the live ammunition there was a proper dig to remove it all! but not all of it! as its there still!
