IF you had paid any attention you'd realize that the tarantula's tiny fangs weren't even close enough to penetrate the scorpion, because it was holding it off with it's pinchers. And even IF it had been bit, and by some divine miracle skipped all paralysis involved with a tarantula bite, the tarantula wouldn't have ran away.
