  • I thought this was a super cute purse. I am looking for a way to make a smaller clutch purse for a wedding. I want to give to my soon to be sis in-law. So I was thinking satin with lollipop flowers. The one thing that is stumping me is how to keep the clutch stiff so it has a nice form. Any ideas for me?

  • @JamieJnJasonR you know i wish i had any suggestion for you, but i'm just an amateur sewer... i would think bonding the fabric to another stiffer fabric (perhaps with fusible webbing?) would double up the fabric to make it stiffer, but i don't know how well you can sew through that sort of stuff, sorry i couldn't be of more help!

  • that cake pin holdy thingie is so cute!! also, whats the thing next to ur bookcase?

just wondering. haha it looks like a floating spider. and ur bag turned out adorable!!

  • @JadeAroo18 it is indeed a spider! ... a tarantula to be exact, also not quite finished with the bag i still need to figure out some sort of closure for it, the tie string idea was kind of a fail. i was thinking velcro maybe?
