makes you think about Rassilon in Doctor Who The End of Time glove.
was the destruction of time Rassilon's idea? how did the Time Lords ressurected him? perheps they used the glove? and the glove Rassilon have is the "sister" of the glove? one brings life and the other destroyes?
One contradiction in Davies' notion of 'the fact that there is no afterlife' is that the resurrected characters who said they experienced nothing inadvertently concede there is consciousness after death. You have to be alive/self-aware in some sense in order to experience nothing. Turn off the light---can you see anything? No. But are you conscious? Yes, you had to be in order to apprehend you can't see anything!
Exactly. The fact that they are even able to resurrect people by seemingly pulling their essence/spirit/consciousness/whatever back from the beyond suggests they go somewhere. There's not NOTHING. Maybe it is just a dark room with something moving beyond it, but it's still something.
Also, Owen at one point in season two says there's nothing -- at least, that he can remember. It could very well be that people just don't have the capacity to properly recall when they're pulled back to reality.
Completely! When Gwen asks 'are you all alone'... that's relying on the fact that you 'are' in the first place... and Suzie doesn't seem to contradict that at all.
@rsmllc2 i think that he means that when you're back you just remember that you are dead and you are weaking up now, so if you do not remember anithing means that there's nothing
looks like the glove Rassilon got, the time lord from doctor who. Maybe it is?

@rsmllc2 I would hardly say that experiencing nothing qualifies as an afterlife.
