if your Motherboard is old too, you might have to buy a new one because the ram on that old motherboard they might not exist anymore, like my old pc, so if its old, what i would do is buy a motherboard and good ram with atleast 2GB or maybe a 1gig

@AshantieMya certainly i can tell you how my graphics are running smoothly. This is a custom PC that I build from parts that were new at the time but now are 4 years old.

CPU: Intel Quad core Q6600

Motherboard: Asus Rampage Formula (the original model)

Memory: 6 Gigs of Gskill 1000 mhz

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 4800X2.

At the time the parts costed me about $800 but now they're probably cheaper. The newer computers are using i7 and i5 CPUs so it's probably better to get a more current machine.

@ShiningStar368 Yea he's puking. It's hard to tell because the video shrunk the resolution down a bit, and some has been edited out. But while he was at the bistro there was a pop up saying: the seafood you ordered tastes wrong, eat it anyway? send it back? So I chose eat it anyway because my sim is more passive and less assertive even though he's Evil, he'd rather be polite than cause a fuss. So anyways he pukes when he gets home because whatever he ate at the bistro was bad.

@skoelzer1 The Sims isn't available for Xbox 360 yet, so maybe you're recalling events that were only imagined in dreams or drug experimentation. My recommendation for you is to not play the Sims at all because this game might be too much for you to handle with such a diminished mental capacity.

The problem with this game is that real life in and of itself just isnt FUN. Checking the mailbox for no reason but to do it, sitting down and playing chess. Riding in a taxi. None of these things make me jump to the PC. There needs to be drama, action, death. Much more then exists here.

@Carrollinda your sim would have to get a job and get salaries to build additional stuffs. But most people would simply use the cheats to get unlimited money and stuff, which is what i hate the most about this game. It's wonderful nevertheless.

@myleygirl10 I think the major problem with Sims 3 is that it doesn't have the DIY capabilities that the Sims 2 had. When the Sims 3 launched, I wanted to make costumes for my different sims, and I could change a lot about their close and appearance, but I couldn't design my own, and ultimately that would have been better. With the sims 2 I could actually design and implement my own textures into the game, and to me that was much more exciting than buying new ones in the packs or through DLC.
