  • This exact episode of this show is completely responsible for my near-lifelong fear of burning alive. Powerful shit. Awesome episode.

  • AHHH The ambulance drove over the hose!!!!!!

  • oh mygod her screams are so chilling

  • This is the probably the most harrowing episode of "Rescue 911" I've ever seen.

  • the fot was stuck in under the wheel:S

  • That must have been so horrible and terrifying for her. Thank God for those people helping her.

  • Why did they just pull her out the window?

  • They didn't just pull her out the window. They couldn't. The Stearing wheel was crushed down on her legs.

  • yeha, i know i was dumb and wrote this before i saw the whole thing ..

  • her legs were pinned

  • I wish i could be her friend

  • poor girl thank god for her not dying

  • Also thank God for those people who risked their lives to save her!

  • I know what you mean, man.

  • thank god the guy in they chevy used the chain to open the door he was a big part in helping her

  • How'd they get the Stearingwheel off her legs? Or did Garry use the chain for that as well?

  • she was abel to slip out when the chevy pulled open the door (i think)

  • Well, the Chevy didn't open the door, Garry did (or maybe that's what you meant to say, Haha!) Also, her leg was shattered and she was pretty badly burned, and I think they had to jerk her out of the car.

  • When the door was stuck shut she couldn't go anywhere but towards the fire,if the driver's door was open she could have slid out to the left, the reason why noone could lift her out the window was because the wheel was on top of her legs and anytime someone tried to lift her the steering wheel would make a "chinese handcuff" effect, the more you pull the tighter she was trapped and noone had anything strong enough to pry the door open until the man with the Chevy arived.

  • cheap shiity jeep!

remember to replace fuel lines they wear out!

  • Those older jeeps were good for catching on fire after an impact on the front,They really put the fuel lines in a smart place (right over the exhaust manifold of all places).

  • What a traumatic event to go through for all of the people. Thank god for the brave bystanders and the chain and fire extinguishers. What about the other people in the accident. They are way less critical but they still need to be evaluated at the hospital or at least by the paramedics.

  • ALMOST TEARS :(

  • So glad those people helped

  • The main hero out of all the people who rescued Kim is Gary because he was able to free her from the burning vehicle using the chain he had

  • do you have any rescue 911 in indiana i know 1 is in their........?

  • Yes. There are a lot. 104 "St. Jays River" and 610 "Pickup Truck Heroes" off the top of head.

  • how did the gas ignite? All i saw was the leak

  • Gasoline is very volatile, meaning it can evaporate very quickly, and obviously flammable...as soon as any gas leak occurs in a car during an accident, it ignites as fire, 'cause the engine is also hot, which transfers heat to it...

  • wow wat a luck girl. thank god 4 that man that had the chain!

  • why the door was not opening

  • I think it was because the door got jammed due to the force of the crash.

  • That was one lucky girl. Boy, those people made a diffrence in saving Kim's life. She wouldn't be alive if hadn't been for them. That's for sure.

  • Yet again, a tear jerker! I'm amazed at the human courage and how it can be summoned in the most trivial of times!

  • lucky girl. my uncle burned to death in his cobra car he made himself. there was peopl that tried to save him too but it wasnt enough. god has a reason for everything, but i know i will never forget the moment i found out..

  • I noticed the ambulance drove over the fire hoses, I thought you weren't supposed to drive over them

  • You might be right about that (frankly, I don't know but it doesn't seem implausible), but keep in mind that the ambulance had to take off immediately, once the victim was "loaded" into the car.

  • Who might be right about what.

  • Trainman11185 about not being allowed to go over fire hoses. My point was it was urgent that the ambulance leaves, so they probably can do so.

  • awesome reconstruction

  • why did her parents have to ware those bibs and gloves?

  • Probably so her burns wouldn't get infected with whatever bacteria might be on her parents' hands and clothes.

  • Anytime someone is intensive care or a burn unit those garments are required,I had to wear them in the ICU after my friend's wife had surgery from her heart attack.

  • What is the song played in this movie and every other movies in this show? At the beginning and at the end.

  • They're not songs, those are musical scores composed by Richard Stone (seasons 1-3) or Stu Goldberg (Seasons 4-7).

  • I see... Thank you for your reply. I also appreciate that you put these videos here. I love this show.

  • Are any of the musical scores used in Rescue 911 available on the internet in addition to the main theme song at the start of the show?

  • What's the time limit for a rescue 911 story to be posted on here because I didn't think there was one.

  • The maximum length for videos is 11 minutes, unless you have a special account.

  • I had a car accident, I didn't even get hurt, but now I get very nervous and don't like to drive. Anything can happen.

  • After first seeing this episode I had nightmares for weeks.

  • You and Jane have something in common then, LOL!

  • This one is probably the most dramatic stories on here. Do you have the second segment and the closing to this episode? If so, can you post them. How many of my fello youtube users think Kim and her family still keep in touch with the people who saved her life? I think it's possible.

  • The second segment is too long.

  • try splitting it into 2 or 3 parts

  • how the hell did the dad get there so fast

  • I remember this episode when I was 11. Maybe it's because of this segment that I'm terrified about getting into a car accident and burning to death because I wasn't able to get out.

I wonder what happened to the driver of the truck.

  • I'm glad Kim survived the accident. Anyway, do you have the 2nd segment from this episode where robbers and cops get into a shootout? If so, do you think you might put that one up?

  • vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd ,go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote ,rescue 911 has 433 votes

  • another question: If you have a fire extinguisher and you put someone who's on fire out, is it a good idea or good measure to continue hosing them down with the extinguisher because you're trying to stop the heat from continuing to burn the skin, but in so doing, are you doing more harm than good by doing that?

  • i think you will freeze the skin then.

  • question: you have a gun and you see someone burning to dead in a car. Are you arrested for murder for shooting them to death to put them out of their misery before they succomb to the flames since cause of death was gunshot wounds?

  • man ur a fucking jackass you need some serious fucking help

  • ask a simple question on what would be good practices on saving somebody's life and i get a dickhead to answer it.

  • Betatalk357 thats because when someones shrouded in anonimity, hidden behind their computer monitor, they have less restraint in being a-holes.

  • There is nothing wrong with asking a question

    if u want 2 ask a ? So B it ask it

  • Oh my fuckin god how did that girl get in that perdiciment

  • There was a car crash, did you watch part 1 of the segment?

  • bassistx cars explode!!!! FYFI

  • To everyone who thinks cars explode.

     THEY DO NOT!

  • OMG I am on the edge of my seat and my heart is racing just watching....

  • sad....sad........

  • thanks for the good people

  • They should have made the other driver rescue Kim from that car all by herself. After all, she did fail to maintain control of her vehicle...

  • but clearly it took many people to save this girl. if one person were "made" to do it, she would've died.

  • Having spent several years as a police officer, and having actually had to stand by and watch a young person burn to death in a car accident, I can tell you first hand that all you think about is trying to get the person out. Sometimes it doesnt happen.

  • Awsome Reaction from people who were driving, poor girl though

  • Good God, that's pretty intense...I'm amazed that the girl's truck didn't explode

  • Terrifying...
