  • Debra actually looked good back then.

  • Isn't that Balls?

  • AA: "With all due respect this is job for professionals not amateurs." Mongo stares blankly at Pipers team.

  • @robbchr LOL....no kidding!! Mongo was the equivalent of Foghorn Leghorn....a lot of mouth, but nothin' upstairs.

  • Was the plan always to dump Piper's "family" for the Horsemen? Or was there a political power play in the back or maybe WCW seeing that the segment where Piper auditioned them flopped?

  • So much for Piper's family.

  • Arn is full of shit. The other two guys might have been amateurs but John Tenta was no mere amateur. He was one of the biggest and best ever.

  • The Hot Rod & the Quake = class acts

  • John Tenta= loser what a fall from the WWF grace man. Those other 2 jabroni's need dropped on their heads.

  • wild field mouse

  • Who could forget the never-ending segment before this where Piper picked his team-o-less-than-well-knowns. That segment aged me 5 years.

  • @MagnesDrachen13 You aint kidding. Think Piper just wrapped up that segment about two weeks ago. What a disaster.

  • @AntonBatey Ur kidding aint u? yes john tenta was one of the men but the other 2 are not dr death and hercules.

  • @AntonBatey That is definitely not Dr. Death or Hercules...

  • When did Hercules become a a midget? and When did Williams get huge tattoos.. lmfao

  • @AntonBatey that's not Dr. Death dude

  • @AntonBatey dr.death is not up there!

  • @AntonBatey Ya got Tenta right, but the other two are not Hercules and Dr. Death, these two guys are out & out jobbers.

  • Mr Perfect swerving the Horseman was a bad idea. He was totally horseman material. And what was the logic in Dusty and Windham turning on WCW and joining NWO ? No sense.

  • wrestling had a totally different fee/vibe in the late 90's. Even the personality of the average fan was somehow different. I hope to see CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and others bring back wrestling.

  • I'm pretty sure the mullett scottish guy is not Steve Williams...Dr. Death had more talent than any of those wrestlers in the ring put together (YES, I said it; Steve Williams was better than Flair...)

  • @justfromg HE'S GOT THE BARBEQUE SAUCE!!!

  • I've seen the medium guy do some stunt work. Isn't he one of the russians in the first Boondock Saints? One of the two either side of Nikolai?

  • @AntonBatey dude thatz not dr. death steve williams, one is earthquake, but the two are not who u said

  • I don't get it.

  • earthquake

  • @AntonBatey thats not hercules or dr death steve williams at all. what planet are you from?

  • LOL @ Okerlund.. "..a wild field mouse!"

  • Where the hell did you see Steve Williams and Hercules? That is an insult to both of them.

  • @AntonBatey lol they're on my dream team!!!

  • flairs dance hilarious

  • This wasn't even a match. All they did was talk. How could he "refuse" to put them over?

  • @AntonBatey they was all the shit in their prime

  • @AntonBatey That's not Steve Williams or Hercules. -_-

  • The rest of the horsemen should be in the four horsemen

  • Great promo...as usual

  • Dr. Death isn't a jobber, but the other two sure are.

  • @kpz1234 the bigger man is earthquake from wwf and the shorter guy is hercules, i dont know who the other guy is

  • @NiggadaumHistory Earthquake (John Tenta) is correct but that is not Hercules Hernandez.

  • @AntonBatey LMAO

  • (Uncensored Spoilers Ahead)

Poor Piper. His team didn't eliminate a single person. At the end of the match, all four members of the nWo were still standing so that Lex Luger could become a one man wrecking machine and eliminate all of them single-handedly. What a joke.

  • LOL those guys been wrestling a hell of a lot longer than Mongo.

  • @AntonBatey rite their enchancement talent completely different

  • @wwwwwwwwwbg it;s the same thing really. ham n egger, journeyman, jobber...just don't tell danny doring that because he'll tell you just put people over.

  • @Nordfelt true lol

  • thats not dr death

  • @AntonBatey That is TENTA but the other 2 are not Hercules and Steve Williams.

  • top 3 shitest horsemen lineup ever.

  • @AntonBatey No, but they're all dead. :(

  • are you on some exotic rare new street drug to say ric flair cant wrestle you must slow down on that stuff you taken really

  • jeff jarret is da worst horseman ever i wonder how much bitchin he did 2 get in Double J is so damn over rated and they only success he has had was him bookin himself 2 win big matches damn douche bag ass cracker

  • HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTT RODDDDDDDDD!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!

  • This is why the WWF/E started nicknaming Shawn Michaels the Icon. It was to counter Piper. The truth is that Shawn was never an Icon of Wrestling. You say Shawn Michaels now and only the most diehard fans would know him, You say Piper, Hogan, Flair, Jake the Snake, and everyone around the world know who they are. Not everyone knows HBK. I do notice that Piper has the earthquake with him. IDK the other two guys.

  • @jfearless1 I'm not a big Michaels fan, but in my opinion, he's as well known as Piper. Flair, Hogan, Undertaker, Andre, Hart, etc. are/were icons. Piper was a great wrestler. And his comeback to WCW in the late 90's was wonderful. He gave Hogan and the n.W.o. hell, and helped WCW stay on top for a while. Guys like Michaels, Piper, Macho, Stone Cold, Rock, and even Sting were champions and big-name wrestlers, but they'd be "silver-medal" icons. To me, neither Michaels or Piper was THE icon.

  • @JoseATurner I disagree with your first statement and agree with your last. Also, I didn't like the NWO storyline at all. Eventually it just got boring and ridiculous. I think the Hollywood Hogan character was way inferior to the Immortal Hogan character in the WWE. Yes it was the same guy playing both characters but Hollywood Hogan sucked.

  • @JoseATurner Piper was a terrible wrestler and so was Flair. The reason people liked them was because they were funny and interesting. They also yelled a lot. To quote Gorilla Monsoon "They wouldn't know a wrist lock from a wrist watch."

  • @JoseATurner HBK's dominance on Matches of the Year is ICONIC.

  • @jfearless1 I love jake the snake, but how can you say he's more of an ICON then HBK. Double digit PWI Match of the year is all I gotta say.

  • The two best wrestlers to never hold a world title, Arn Anderson and Roddy Piper

  • I hope Jeff Jerrett made a contribution to wrestling history in his days with the Horsemen and carried AA's & Ric Flair's bags.

  • i liked how wcw went to places like this

  • who was the guy wearing all blk with the pony tail?

  • @strrb75 Steve "Mongo" McMichaels.

  • @strrb75 Dr. Death Steve Williams...

  • @BigDaddydigsdp nah i know forsure thats not dr. death

  • @BigDaddydigsdp Dude you don't know thats why you was asking... SHHH

  • Earthquake a jobber? I guess.

  • @DAPDave Yeah that's what I was thinking. And Dr. Death Steve Williams was no jobber either. I'm not sure who the 3rd guy in the brown shirt is but Earthquake & Dr. Death may have been beyond their primes here and their glory days behind them but jobbers they were not.

  • @BradNC11175 The Big guy is Earthquak aka John Tenta the other 2 are jobbers and that guy is not Sreve Williams

  • It's time for Double A Arn Anderson, the best wrestler never to be World Heavyweight Champion, to take his place in the Hall of Fame. Greatness like that can not be ignored.

  • @TheLuscious love Arn, but Scott Hall is the greatest to never win it.

  • @saroshk7784 100% correct Scott Hall should have been a multiple time world champion.

  • @TheLuscious He and Wahoo both need to go in, but yes I can't beleive that arn isn't in yet. Rumor is this is his year.

  • @TheLuscious Scott Hall?

  • @TheLuscious you got that right. he was the best wrestler. the enforcer.

  • @TheLuscious But the WWE is neglecting one of the all-time greats.

  • i'd hardly consider earthquake a jobber

  • is tall guy really snitsky with a mullet?

  • Exactly when did Debra leave No-Wrestling Steve for Wife-Beater Steve?

  • @darrinbaker00 Toward the end of her stay in WCW, Debra and Steve McMichael got divorced. Booker Kevin Sullivan, in his usual way, tried to reflect it in the booking by having her dump Mongo to manage some newcomer named Bill Goldberg. That lasted about three weeks until Goldberg didn't need a manager. Debra moved north to Stamford, met that other Steve, and the rest is history.

  • @actionsub. Isn't she out of the wrestling business now?

  • @1977Melville She got out a couple of years before Stone Cold did his first ring retirement.

  • @actionsub Are you sure Goldberg was managed for three weeks, or any amount of time, by Debra? I've seen Goldberg's earlier matches and didn't see Debra with him.

  • @actionsub Austin 3:16 says I just beat my wife.

  • lol this is a job for professionals not amatuers then what do you call mongo mcmicheal

  • So, Earthquake's Scottish now then.

  • thats earthquake and hercules. not jobbers lol

  • @tottiballbag10 Yeah I remember when Earthquake made the kids cry when he hurt Hogan.lol

  • i remember that i almost cried too lol.

  • @tottiballbag10 hercules? no

  • thats snitsky

  • Rowdy Roddy Piper Vs Ric Flairs Jacket

  • @KingHotdog: It was a hell of a match

  • hell ya PEACE 2 John Tenta the Earthquake

  • Poor Flair. He wanted so bad to have the 4 Horseman be the force that fucked up the nWo, and no one gave a shit. Sting was the only babyface that anyone ever bought as a threat to the nWo.

  • that is goldberg before he became goldberg

  • @Murphdogg4 WHO????

  • Wow roddy says he wont leave his family..five minutes later they're history.

  • avalanche as earthquake was knwn in wcw

  • Oh the irony of some of these wrestlers ripping each other then the minute the money drys out there sucking the balls of the company they slate, lol.

  • that not golberg nooo way

  • I am almost certain that Al Pacino studies Ric Flair

  • the title of the video says "jobber" in it, so I can see why people think Goldberg is in the ring, it's an honest mistake. But, really the jobbers in this clip are the Brain Busters & the two guys with Earthquake & Piper

  • Ric Flair, NWA World's Heavyweight Champion, March 21, 1987.

  • RIP John Tenta !

  • If you think Goldberg is in the ring, you are in need of a mental evaluation.

  • @msmith42001 it is

  • that aint goldberg you idiot

  • Tenta isn't a "jobber" and the second guy you might know as BILL GOLDBERG.

  • @reivenlocke Bullcrap thats Goldberg, theres no way in the world that anybody in that ring even remotely resembles Goldberg.

  • @cevaking its the guy with long hair

  • @bakonman12 WTF that fat over weight bearded guy without an arm tattoo is Goldberg - give me a break and have a better look.

  • @cevaking That's John Tenta, aka Earthquake/Avalanche, you moron.

  • @NWpowerhouse85 Did i say it wasn't dickhead? JohnTenta is the guy in the white, we are talking about the guy in the black and people saying it is Goldberg. There is no mention of tenta in any of my posts.

  • @cevaking I think I misread your post----I thought that YOU were saying just that..

Your first post just said overwt(Tenta), bearded(Tenta), and without an arm tattoo(can't see Tenta's upper arms).

    At any rate, my bad

  • Wow nice drunken shoot promo on WWE Piper!

  • Earthquake in a kilt lol

  • The Guy in Black is Goldberg

  • How did John Tenta (Eathquake, Shark) become a jobber, sad.

  • 1:34 - Getting hammered - yep sounds to me like you have definetely been getting hammered Roddy.

  • I don't get how Flair and Piper were cast as being longtime friends here when they had only been enemies prior to that in their careers.

  • @Edgehead10075 It was a case of real life friendship being put into the storyline.

  • @Edgehead10075 They were great friends who partied hard together between those matches in those days.

  • Tenta an amateur? Wow, WCW really buried him.

  • Flair is, no doubt, a legend. However, there's one criticism that I have of him, and it's not even his fault. It's something that he can't help, and it may be one of the reasons why he was never as big a draw as Hogan, Austin, or the Rock. Look at him. He doesn't look tough. Just about every opponent he faced looked like he would kick the shit out of Flair in a real life fight.

  • It really wasn't believable that Flair could beat Luger, Sting, Hogan, and the other main eventers of the time. With all of that said, he's still an icon.

  • @Edgehead10075 well he could take his ass to the gym and work on that ugly fatty body of his

  • WCW turned Earthquake into a jobber. Sad. No matter what you think of Tenta, we can all say that WCW was a worthless pile of shit.

  • Comment removed

  • "A job for professionals not amateurs" stupid to say that with Mongo on your side. Don't recall Mongo going one on one w/ Hogan (in his prime) to main event status like Earthquake did. Funny how this venue will be last Nitro in 4 years, 16 days time. Sigh if only some professionals stepped aside so the amateurs could shine.

  • Jeff Jarrett was actually a worse horseman than Mongo.

  • @calamaty And it's ironic now that Piper shoots on the WWF. Boy, did times change a few years later.

  • Honestly, I used to love wrestling, I'm older now and this all seems like bad acting to me

  • @ELJoseNova

WELL, it's not bad acting because it's not like they were trying to be TOO serious. They were talking in front of people on a mic, it's not like they were in the locker room having a regular conversation. But yea, i don't watch wrestling these days because it's not like it use to be, today these new wrestlers can't entertain for shit.

  • I like how it says jobbers but obviously the biggest scotsman is john tenta aka earthquake

  • How dare you call Earthquake a jobber

  • and 4 years later wcw went under in the same place lol

  • @michaeldavis678

When you think of WCW is that all you know about it? Because if thats the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of WCW then you don't know NOTHING ABOUT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING!

  • @michaeldavis678 The last Nitro was at a club down the street from this place. This place has a pool surrounding the ring. The Last Nitro place did not

  • John Tenta (Earthquake) aint no fuckin jobber.......dumbass!!!!!!!!

  • You know, for all the crap the 3 "amateurs" were getting from Flair and Anderson, they shouldn't talk since they had a complete waste of wrestling air like Mongo McMicheal on their side.

  • @Salesman

Yes, how he became a Horsemen, how he got his name cememnted into a stable that has held some of the all-time greats, will always be a mystery to me.

  • It's a mystery why Jarrett became a horsemen as well, especially since Flair and Arn didn't want him in the group.

  • Jeff Jarrett is a complete waste of wrestling air too, and he was a worse horseman than Mongo. Jarrett did not have a personality that fit the horseman.

  • @Edgehead10075 I wouldn't necessarily say Jarrett is a waste of wrestling air. The guy could wrestle and put on some quality matches and his egomaniac characters were pretty good. The problem with Jarrett is that he thinks he was a big time main eventer. He was talented, but he swore he could draw like Hogan and Flair which he couldn't.

As for Mongo and Jarrett, I think you're kidding yourself if you believe that. Mongo is universally regarded as one of the worst wrestlers of all time.

  • The Mongo fit in with the Horseman. He was their "muscle," kind of like how Batista was Evolution's "muscle." Every group needs a guy like that. What role did Jarrett fit? Jarrett looked like a gay guy out there with his fruity getup. Mongo was put over in the Horsemen DVD; Jarrett got buried.

  • @Edgehead10075 Now you're arguing two different things. I don't care about how Jarrett looked because let's be honest, there were way worser and as you put it, gayer looking wrestlers than him before and after his career. I'm talking about wrestling skills, something Mongo never had.

And yeah, you're right, every stable had a "muscle" character but the thing is the majority of them were ten times better than Mongo. Mongo McMicheal sucked. There was not one redeeming quality about him.

  • All that you say is true. However, Mongo was mysteriously over with the fans for a while.

  • @Edgehead10075 Kinda hard to be hated since everyone was against the NWO at the time. Only other time I remember him being a fan favorite IIRC was when he teamed up with Sting to take on the Horsemen and I believe they brought in Macho Man to be their partner.

  • Who? Mongo? He was a babyface from the summer of '97 until he left the company in early '99.

  • The Shockmaster!

  • @xgooglex

That's Earthquake dude. The Shockmaster was Typhoon.

Unless Typhoon is the other dude with the huge tattoo, but he really doesn't look like him,.

  • As a teenager I didn't know what Flair meant by "talent", but now I can watch this now and laugh my ass off.

  • @zandigable guess you forgot to put your helmet on when you got on the short bus that morning

  • look like a cross between a large rick rude and dr. death steve williams

  • WCW's Last arena years later...TRAGIC

  • rip earthquake

  • Piper is great, but not past the 80's.

  • these guys never even fought at the pay-per-view if i recall; so why did they even have this dumb angle?

  • Because The WCW did not want them to.

  • So why did they have this dumb angle to begin with?

  • Why did they treat Earthquake as a rookie?
