Best concert I ever saw back in 83 (Outside Inside Tour) and I've seen almost every band that mattered. Fee Waybill is one of the best singers in rock. I'd love to see these guys rock out again live. These guys proved rock could be fun. Anyone remember The Tubes on SCTV with John Candy as the Fishin' Musician? They "performed" Sushi Girl. Great memories....

Just watched them last night at the Firehouse Theator in Pleasanton Ca. In high school, my friend's aunt was the fanclub owner...we were back stage all the time...ahhh the 80's. Yes these guys still RULE...they rocked like the early 80's. Fee can still rock the mic...Roger Steen will never loose it.. I video responded with video from last nights show!

What can I say...Like many, I have seen the Tubes whenever possible,usually every year at BB's, 1st show ..this CBP tour.. Royal Oak..about 81' was of course brilliant..but ,visiting hometown Det. this summer they played the 'Warren Mi. Birthday Bash' !!??!! for their last show and quite simply hit the folks with so much style and real Rock and Roll talent that after about 45 min. the entire carnival was TURNED OUT BY THEM!!...THEY MELTED THE PLACE IN 90 MINUTES!!..THEY STILL RULE!!!
