This is a decent quick fix trick but I recommend others to look into the Cam Caddie Scorpion if it's better more stable shots that you need. It's about $38 and has helped me out tremendously.
Maybe, but wouldn't it be hard to drill through metal with a screwdriver? It was even a little difficult for me using my drill-press because it wasn't easy to keep it steady.
