Where's the power lifts?? squats? power cleans? I dont see why people pay for this kind of stuff anyways. Find a hill and a field use empty water bottles for cones, sticks for ladders, you dont need to pay to become a great athlete. If these kids were really that motivated to become better athletes theyd go on the computer and search for different sport specific exercises rather then spend 9 hours on facebook.... just saying

@I8thatB4 I do think that spending a lot of the time on the treadmill is bad for technique, as there's no air resistance which changes the feel of running, especially at high speeds, but I can see the value in using inclined treadmill running if you don't have any conveniently placed hills.
The treadmill is perfect for over speed training, especially when it's inclined. I use the same type of training with my athletes. It's not meant to replicate the 40 yd dash, it's purpose is to program the athletes CNS to respond to faster speeds than it's accustomed to. Thus in the end increasing a 40 time.
Good stuff. For those who can't afford the equipment...make it. You'd be surprised what you can do with PVC. Go to home depot or lowes and get 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch PVC and some 90 degree elbows or 3 way connectors and you can make your own hurdles, and weave poles. Its really easy...want to be better...work harder! Come see my channel. As they say proof is in the pudding!
