Bach didn't compose carmina burana...The first musical setting of the poems was by Carl Orff in 1935. Bach had been dead for 185 years. Nice try though ;)
Nice video, thanks for posting! Dr. Talle is just like Bach: mysterious! Kind of a little boy, but also VERY professorial. It's so cute how he tries to be absolutely clear and precise ("it's always longer...or almost always longer"... "he may have had students there who copied the music, because the students were the ones who did that"). Unfortunate cut at 3:47 though: "mixing the ink, cutting the paper, preparing the paper, sharpening his quill pens...but somehow he rose to the challenge."
