i found out why yummy mummy didn't come out! during the time when these cereals came out AIDS was becoming an epidemic. When Yummy Mummy came out they would inculded a rainbow colored bandage. As most of you know, tit was belvied homosexuals caused AIDS. and a rainbow is the symbol for homosexuals. so it wasn;t a good choice to come out with yummy mummy. so then they just got rid of it

It was discontinued over the new AIDS crisis, and with the Anti-Gay view the country had back then, Mummy was discontinued, and ultimately, FrankenBerry, and BooBerry as well, leaving Count Chocula on his own (being the big seller of them all).

At least nowadays, FrankenBerry and BooBerry come back on Halloween.

Count Chocula was my favorite as a kid (next to Fruit Loops and Captain Crunch) even though it was all sugar and possibly artificially flavored but that's why kids like it! :D As for Boo Berry and Frankin Berry, i never got to try those ones :(
