You are so funny, yet true about Brock vs Fedor! Fedor will destroy Lesnar. Yet Brock is favored against Couture. So Couture would be even more destroyed by Fedor right? Dude i agree with you a little but brock is a good fighter... hes new to MMA and with training he can be great.. Frank Mir was the worse possible match up for Brock in his first fight. Mir is awesome a jujitsu, and Brock is just a pure wrestler at that time.. Everyone knows when a pure wrestler that has no ground skills and defense skills get tapped quick..

Brock destroyed Heath Herring, and as he gets better at jujitsu defense, he can be great.

Lesnar actually doesn't have a bad chance of beating Couture. People might not want to believe it, but just by his pure physical feats he'll be able to put Randy on his back. I'm hoping Randy is training his guard which is probably always the most overlooked aspect of MMA amongst majority of the pro fighters.

Randy saw Fedor destroy Silvia, got scared and ran back to the UFC. With Dana's arm around him Couture has an excuse to avoid Fedor.

It should be Nog vs Randy, UFC is milking this for 3 fights and hyping Lesner the same as Elite does with Kimbo.

After the Fedor-Silvia fight Randy was in the ring looking nervous and giving congrats to Fedor. Fedor is so badass that even having just beat Tim, Fedor could have finished Couture right there in under a minute.

Randy is not avoiding fedor... Randy just knows that its either fight in the UFC or retire. If he didnt renew the old contract, Zuffa would have this case tied up in court until randy is old and gray. So now... he's signed a new deal and will just hope that the new negotiations with the UFC and fedor go well so he can finally get a ahot at Fedor. Its his only chance at getting a shot at the #1 HW of all-time.

I am not going to say he is ducking Fedor, because it just isn't true. But I will agree. Fedor has Randy shook! Anyone who can read body language can tell he was VERY uncomfortable in the ring after the Fedor/Silvia fight. The crowd was booing him, Fedor looked untouchable, and Randy had his arms cross and was in the most defensive situation he's ever been in, publicly.

Randy saw something he's never seen before. SHEER DOMINANCE. And he's shook. Scared, maybe.

Running? Definitely not.

Good points but I can't agree that Fedor's dominance over Tim wasn't part of the decision to return to the UFC. Every fighter wants to believe they have a chance at winning and Randy knows that fighting Fedor now is hopeless. A few tune up fights in the UFC are what he needs-it will be a better show instead of a beat down.

The UFC is making 3 fights out of it but if Randy is confident in his abilities he should insist on meeting Nog first and settle who's champion.

Yeah i can see where your coming from. But Randy needs Fedor in the UFC. his only chance against fedor would be in the cage as oppose to the ring. In a ring, Randy would have to try and drag fedor to the ground which would definetly NOT happen. Your right in the fact that his chances very close to hopeless. He just needs to hope that Fedor freezes up in the cage the same way other Pride superstars did: Cro cop, shogun, Rampage (is having success but first fight was sketchy), Wanderlei, etc.

... and i think fedor is still the guy randy wants. Randy has nothing to lose... if he gets beatdown he's only lost to the greatest mixed martial artist ever and if he wins he becomes one of the biggest legends in combat sports history. Although we all know he will always be a legend in the MMA world for his accomplishments already.

Rings was the Org.

It was the tourney where Fedor lost his first fight by cut less then 20 seconds into the fight, by illegal/accidental elbow. It was a one night HW tourney. Randy also lost. But they were both in it.

2001 .. I think.

Randy is a great fighter but I don't see him beating Brock. Brock is going to be too big and too strong and Randy has problems with people who are better wrestlers than himself. Brock will beat Randy, Big nog will beat Mir and then hopefully them two fight and then Big nog beats Lesnar and he's the undisputed heavyweight champion like he should be.
