Michelle Williams Unexpectedly Screwed By Label?

Most great artist have to be put on the back burner for about 3albums worth and then the fans complain for them to even consider really investing in them. Sad to say but it will take some time but Michelle will have her time in front! Let God use u and ur voice and see what happens Michelle!

I agree completely. I had to order the album off of Amazon. Wal-Mart, HMV, Best Buy, Future Shop, Target, and Zellers all did not have one copy. I was ripped. Michelle's album is amazing.

Remember when the label said 'they needed time' to promote Unexpected and pushed it back to October 7??? The same day "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies" were released??? AND they didn't even promote her right which contradicts why they pushed it back??? No late night talk show performance. (Bey did SNL) No morning show. (Bey did GMA) No female focused talk show. (Bey performed on Ellen) No award shows. (Bey did AMAs and others) Seriously. Michelle is being screwed over for Bey.

Yeah.. I do love Beyonce's "If I were a Boy" but as for NOW, I LOVE WE BREAK THE DAWN!!! I play it over and over and over on my iTouch!! And yes, the stores in Singapore does not even seem to have receive any of her albums yet, but at least I heard it on 91.3fm and I went out and bought the album!!

Definitely a sabotage. I live in Asia, Singapore, and bought the album last month. Her album should be on the first shelves in front of the stores since it first release, instead it was at the back of the store piled up with some other cds that was out like 5 years ago. I got angry but its ok, I bought her album, and couldnt wait to play it. Anyway, there have like only 5 copies in the store. Strange huh...

Too many people are saying that could not find it. Let's start a petition and file a complaint to have Matthew Knowles and the label investigated.

Promotion is ridiculous these days. They don't have a hard time booking that ugly non-sense bullcrap AKA Lil' Wayne, do they? WE ARE SO SICK OF THAT MESS. I didn't buy it to begin with.

Solange is just a wack artist, because her album got promoted exceedingly well, fashion rocks, tyra, jimmy kimmel, trl, 106 all in sequence with her album release. So she flopped because her music wasn't that great an artist.

Michelle on the other hand, her album was in stores this week, shes done nothing. Appeared on today show and 106???

NO PROMOTION, if she is still with Colombia on with her next album, ill give up on her.

this is soooo saddd b/c its sooo true. like, I went to a newbury comics here in Boston and I couldnt find the album whatsoever. I was pissed because they sell new albums for cheap and I was going to buy like 5 copies---not the case, I had to buy 2 albums for about 15 bucks--absolutely absurd.

It's a shame. Michelle's album is excellent, and this is coming from someone who loved her gospel work and was really afraid of what her dance/pop stuff would sound like. Hopefully "The Greatest" can push this album to the forefront... but I don't really see it happening. WE LOVE YOU MICHELLE!
