I think the walls are to distract us from the fact there is drummer and bass player, and that there's a guy standing next to the lead singer with a microphone and not singing.
Lee Oswald was a gifted linguist. He had children with his pretty, intelligent, university-educated wife (she was trained as a druggist). He was a C.I.A.-operative. He was not a sexually-frustrated, unemployed, junky, mother-hating, drunken loner. He had friends. He had charisma. He bathed daily, visited his dentists after meals and brushed twice a year.
This crazy mix of good J-Pop, an over-sounding guitar, and a psichedelic epileptic wild british tv show is what in Brazil we would call a "Samba do crioulo doido" ("crazy crioulo Samba"), wich means you mixed things that have absolutely nothing to do with each other, but the result can be sometimes still enjoyable. :-)
It's Friday night in 1995 - rolling back from the pub to watch 'The Word' on Channel 4 at 11.00PM...I remember this vid the first time around and I've been looking for it since!
I liked the guitar too, but the sound balance wasn't right for this performance and it drowned out the rest of the song. Wish I could hear this again with a more equal balance.
The show was called 'The Word'. Used to be on Channel 4 on a friday night in the UK. It was really good, presented by Terry Christian, Mark LaMar, Dani Behr and Amanda DeCadanet.

This clip would actually be awesome and perfectly Pizzicato 5 if the crowd was dressed along the lines of Maki's 1960's Twiggy getup. Or just less retardedly at all.
Amazing performance. The guitar sounds rad.

The marketing of this junk is great but there is no talent here or the old hag thinking she is Phillip Glass.
