I like this video, a very fine rise of the three then the next three, bit like how we do it at probus when we fall but we do it on 4 because there is eight bells.

Oh, the ringing chamber? It's because the bells are directly above the chamber we ring in, about 30'

Ringing Up is still something I find very hard to coordinate and rather alarming too! Good demonstration here.

I do believe that on ringing up one of he bells went up the incorrect way - sort it please it is bad ringing technique, you need full control of your bell at all times.

Also, he needs to catch the tuft sooner, you never know when it could flip over the balance, it's only a little bell.

not every church is loud in the ringing chamber some are very loud and some are normal and quiet

I'm going to learn to ring tonight so have been watching your vids. Quite nervous now! lol Is it really that loud in the ringing room of your tower? The church I'm going to is a groud floor ring.
