In my opinion you should have asked which parents would kill their children (ie the flood, and other divinely commanded massacres in the bible), what kind of parents would asked their children to 'worship' or 'glorify' them? What kind of parents would torture their children for eternity for disobeying them? And finally what kind of children would question whether their parents even exist at all.
I haven't come to that decision. To say that you believe in a god is a positive claim. Atheism is just a response to that positive claim. If there is evidence that a god really does exist, I've never seen it or even heard of it.

But cant you apply that term to how scientist 'think" the earth was made? They are going on assumptions. There isn't any evidence associated with the earliest instant of the expansion. Even the scientist don't know everything so they then to give you a half-assed answer.
As for the Bible guess where some of the scientist look to when they are stumped? Archeologists are finding proof of the Bible all the time. You can compare whats going on in the world now with the Bible It all matches up. Look up the Gaza pullout for ex. if you want an explanation of the tragedy going on now in the world just pick up the Bible it explains it. Revelation talks a lot of the end times, which we are in.

There are many more incorrect prophesies throughout the Bible than correct ones. And from what I've seen, all of the "correct" ones, have been vague or self fulfilling.
Even if there was a genuine prophecy that was fulfilled with great detail, it still wouldn't be evidence for the existence of a god.
And even if you had evidence that a god does exist, you would have to show that it is the god of the bible, and not Allah, Vishnu, etc.
